Matt, the caption explains "rb26dett" - that's the engine out of the R32-R34 Skyline GTR's... straight six yes. This one is fantastic..........

The RB motors pretty much fall right in, right? How much would one cost? A single-turbo RB25 would be cool, too, if it was significantly cheaper.

RB25's are significantly cheaper...oh and as for the swap, I've heard on one site that the RB26 fits using Z31 brackets...Nissan keeps it all in the family apparently...As for R34 GT-R rb26, anyone wanna buy my arm or leg?

I'm going to do the same swap to mine, as soon as my 76 is paid for. Any one know if the AWD 6 speed can just be bolted to the rearend so it's a 2WD 6 speed?

The only thing you need for the swap is the Z31 oil pan and the 2WD tranny, I think Cheong (the owner of the yellow 240z RB26 sells motor mounts for the swap
