Being a purist with these cars by nature I'm very pleased with the ideas generated here. With regard to stereo install.

The best I've seen so far was using the heater eye balls at each side of the dash and using the center part to mount tweaters this was in a P510 .

Probably no different than using Photoshop on a regular image.. that's why it's so important to see a car in person before you buy it. ;)

Mounted up and running strong! Still a few details to work out; but runs good, sounds good, feels good on the initial pulls. Super happy it worked out!
