It might be just the photo or me but it looks like the bonnet has had a knock before and being hard to repair it shows up a bit, I know because my 240z's bonnet was not spot on then I installed the fluted one and realised how much straighter it was shame about the vents but I prefer non vented . Well the Z car vents anyway.

Have you got any side angles of the bonnet?

I've looked al over the car from all angles and there is no evidence of it being in a major (or minor) prang. The bonnet carries numerous stone chips near the front but thats about it - it looks original both inside and out.

What makes you think it's not straight Gav? Is it the shadow lines that don't line up?

I seem to agree with halz on this one, a non straight bonnet tends to have very poor and uneven panel fit, this one on the other hand seems to line up great. So just out of interest, what was the damage to your pocket??
