I have the exact same problem with the rear rocker piece, as well as the bottom of my driver fender. How did you fix that? Please let me know. mdixon@thoughtware.org

Mounted up and running strong! Still a few details to work out; but runs good, sounds good, feels good on the initial pulls. Super happy it worked out!
