Followers 16x12 Panasports w/5 inch backspacing (coilovers), tuck nicely under my red IMSA flares. Too wide for the white IMSA fenders but fit perfectly under the YZ fenders from ZTRIX.

Ron Carter Member May 19, 200420 yr comment_5766 Share this post Nice setup Steve, bet you had to do a large amount of chassis support to handle that wheel and tire combo. Alfadog Member May 19, 200420 yr comment_5767 Share this post Errrrrrrrrr... 12" wide on the front? Isn't that a bit of an overkill? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/gallery/image/8925-16x12-panasportimsa/#findComment-5767 Share on other sites

Steve Parmley Member May 20, 200420 yr comment_5784 Share this post This will be primarily autocross. I used to run FP and will run AP untill they change the rules. (12 inch wheels are in the works for FP. ) These C8 Panasports are very light. My bathroom scale says 17lbs. I know Bill Coffey in Florida is having success running 11.5x16x23.5 slicks on 12 inch wheels. If I run open track events I will scale back to 7 inch wheels. The body work will all be removable with dzus fasteners. panchovisa Member May 21, 200420 yr comment_5799 Share this post Steve, I'm going to be putting on 17"x13" REARS (and you've got 12" FRONTS!!!!), and 17"x101/2" fronts. The body work I have should work up front, but I think that I'll have to put the YZ rear quarters on. What is your experience with YZ rear flairs? Minimal problems? They look very well done from web site. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/gallery/image/8925-16x12-panasportimsa/#findComment-5799 Share on other sites
Steve Parmley Member May 21, 200420 yr comment_5814 Share this post I will run 12 all around. The YZ rears are smoother and better finish than the fronts? Don't know why. I will put in a skeleton rear suspension and shoot my 12 inch wheels so you can see what clearance there is. Godzilla at Zdriver.com had a rear set for sell.
