Under the Hood
Hybrid Wrecking yard motor! 240 block with 260 bottom end, cylinder head has been mildly ported, valves have been polished (thank goodness for slow duty nights and a drill press on the CG Base) rocker arms have been lightened, and balanced (more slow duty night's and use of a gram scale for balancing out TRH weight bolts!) Trip 40DCOE Mikuni's. Header with 21/2" exhaust. 4 row radiator out of a parts car. Cam ???? looked good so in it went.
How does it run..........got lucky runs pretty decent and makes for good ICE (in car entertainment) - Wheels & Tires 15X7 rims with toyo proxes R-1's on a set of rims I traded a diff for from Greg Ira and a set of worn out Kum ho's victor racers (for use when I want to practice ice driving without ice or want to do some awesome slides around corners) on a set of rims I traded something or another with Larry Mahanor
- Suspension Shortened struts, koni single adjustables generic race shocks in front, AZ Z Car Konis that were New old stock for a Z Car back in the day. AZ Z Car stock springs. Lots of shock travel with the shortened struts! 1" front bar 3/4" rear and urethane bushings all around. Hoping to put coilovers in sometime soon
