- Description I'm the 3rd owner of the car (HLS30-124668, Mfg'd 9/72) acquiring it in 2005 with 132k original miles on it from a terrific Z-car fanatic who saved two 1973 240z's and a 300zx. We have become close friends and keep in contact today as I send him photos of my updates. Both prior 2 owners lived in Arizona so the base chassis and body was in very good shape. Owner #2 bought the car ~1989 and began the restoration. Converting the SUs to an Arizona-Z 4BL 390cfm Holley during the rebuilding of the L24 the engine which had ~125k miles on it at the time. In 1995 a 1982 280zx 5sp manual with R200 rear end and CVs which had 75k miles on it were installed with an Fidanza Aluminum. In 1994/95 the car was repainted "Deep Beryl Green" (PGV) which is a Dodge Viper color at the time over the original Datsun Silver 901.
