Description
My uncle Marvin (US Forester of the Year!) pre-paid on a 240Z at a dealership in Washington state before any 240Z models had actually arrived in the States.
In 1984 he passed away leaving the car to languish in the rain until my cousin trailered it back to Oregon where it remained stored and ignored for 23 years in a preverbal "barn" until my cousin called me up to "come get it" as a "family heirloom" passed on to the only known family member that pleaded that it never be sold to someone outside our extended family.
Currently, the car is being well cared for and driven weekly by a 17 year veteran, Nissan factory trained Nissan mechanic and friend in mid state Oregon. It is soon to be relocated to my Z PARTS shop in Winston, Oregon where I will begin a slow, practical refurbishing of it's weakest points, but hopefully not it's "character" with a lot guzzy up'd restoration glitz. - Current Color white
