Description
Purchased by the previous owner in 1978. He drove it as a daily until 1991 when he decided to start restoring the Z. The owner collected many oem parts from Nissan that were still in their bags when I purchased the Z.
Shortly after the owner started rebuilding the Z he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Many years went by and finally the Z was never put back together. The Z sat in a garage for 22 years until the owners son finally posted the Z on craigslist.
I luckily came across this Z and was able to purchase it in 7/28/2013. Since the Z was stored in a very nice garage the floors, rockers, and hatch are all intact. The Z was in such good condition that I had a hard time finding rust.
The engine bay was also redone at a body shop while the motor was out so the battery tray is in very good condition too. The engine is a rebuilt L28 that has 0 miles and has never been fired up with a 5 speed manual. I hope to continue on with his project and will get this beauty on the road! - Current Color Brown
