- Description my 280zx, I bought it when I was 15, it had an sbc 350 and 700r4 trans, both have been rebuilt. I bought it for 1600 with a peeling clearcoat and a questionable 2 tone paint, but it was almost entirely rust-free. I've done all the work including the transmission rebuild by myself, its never been to a shop ect in the time I've owned it.
