  1. Just got a set of blue reproduction 240z door skins from www.roadsterwerx.com. Got them for a great price. According to their site, they were made by the same company that made them for the Nissan remanufacture program. As you can see in the photos the color, textures, chrome strip, and heat sealed seams are identical to the OEM skins. I can' wait to get them installed.
  2. Pulled this off of a 70 owners manual. This mentions the red light so its an A model. Got any B model manuals to compare it to? Saw this manual on ebay a few years ago so there's one out there for the B

To get offers from long distance buyers you need more pictures, preferably close ups of the floor repair areas and the floor overall and the rockers, frame rail sides and under frame rails. Quarter panel dog legs, wheelwells and closeups of the batery tray area. Pictures of the parts that go with the car too.
  4. One of the guys in that Hybridz thread talked about doing the same to use 300ZX (Z31) 5 lug axles, with 280Z hubs. He said it was 72mm also though. Seems like there are many ways to get there. Machine the hubs, machine the bearings, machine the axles, Redi-sleeve the bearings, Redi-sleeve the axles, drill what you got. Buy aftermarket.
  5. UNLESS, you mill out the tiny difference between the bearings then you can use your 280zx stubs with 240 hubs, inside and outside bearings are the same larger OD with the smaller 280ZX ID,
  6. I can vouch for Taka! Awesome guy, order with confidence...
  7. Thanks Zeddy---- Glad I could help! Steve's reproductions are the best out there by far----very accurate and the craftsmanship shows in all of them. I have had the pleasure of providing several NOS and good condition pieces for him to use as patterns and know first hand how well he makes the replacements---there are no dis-appointments. All the Z community is fortunate to have a man of Steve's talents and abilities. His parts are not unreasonable in cost when you consider the time and investment in tooling he has made. Many of the parts are not available anywhere else and some never had part numbers associated with them as they were a part of an assembly. The service is TOP NOTCH to boot! (end of accolade) Jim D. "Zup".
  8. Have to give credit and thanks where it is due. Zup, since you pointed me to www240Zrubberparts.com I want to thank you. I emailed them my issue and since they were out of them, they would add them to the next batch in a few days and I could order one when they are ready. THAT is great service for our Z's. I just wanted to give them a compliment in front of our member and thank them for the quick customer friendly service. I think I will order the entire brake and hose clamp set from them in addition to the ash tray door. I will reward good companies with my wallet. That kind of service is hard to find.
  9. Thanks Granny. Much better now.
  10. I don't understand! You want the car pristine and painted correctly but you don't want to pull the engine to paint the engine bay! Then when one (jfa.series1) of the foremost experts on the factory methods tells you they painted them black on the radiator support you question that! If you want it factory, black out the lower radiator support! If you don't want it factory then don't! But don't question whether the information is good when it comes from an original owner that won 1st place last year at Zcon just because some one on Youtube did it different I'm done...
