  1. ZG over fender, When I checked this car before buying, I checked a "sticker" on all of four over fenders. A true 240ZG has true over fenders, which has sticker FR, FL, RR, RL for each ones. Previous owner gave me spair over fenders, I confirmed stickers on them, and original un-touched gray color. Kats
  2. For example? Given the shortest possible time gap between any 1970 production-dated car and any 1972 production-dated car is just over 12 calendar months, what kind of scenario would you think made that possible? Somebody found a forgotten crate of parts behind the canteen door? My experience would be that there usually is some rhyme and reason to explain such perceived phenomena, and it is often the case that we - as civilians - are misunderstanding and misinterpreting what we see. I class it with the "left-over 240Z parts used on 260Zs" type comments...
  3. Finally got around to installing a set of JDM tail lights (thanks HR369) after freshening them up a bit. Also freshened up a calendar clock I obtained from Greg as well and put that in my instrument cluster with a few "details" done to match the instruments.

i got a little side-tracked about since my last post. i decided to spend a day cleaning the shop after the cold weather was over. that led to a 4 week project. all of this stuff was in the way, so adding on 12x20' to the back of the shop gave me some working room

Something else to consider: bring all of your stainless trim up to a high polish finish with a buffing wheel and jeweler's rouge. The high visibility items (door handles, window frames, drip rails) will add a lot of "pop" to your paint finish. Don't overlook the little items like the side marker light frames and windshield/hatch gasket inserts. I did all of this and am well pleased with the outcome.

This is some of the hardware I plated last week These large bushings and washers came out really good too... This hinge plate is a little dark but isn't burnt on the top edge like the picture makes it appear This bar came out really good. Obviously some of these parts are not Z parts. They are off the skid steer I'm working on...
