  1. Helpful drawing and seems to show that there's no additional base or plate for attaching to the roof. It would seem that the 2 screws shown go through the roof liner into what must be metal ??? Anyway, my maplight arrived yesterday and my daughter sent me some pics that show it at different angles (I won't be home for another couple of weeks). Not good quality pics but they give a better idea of the overall shape. I've also written Mike at Whitehead Performance again asking for information regarding installation of the light. Maybe he'll find some time to respond.

  2. Tried to look at the brochure in an editor but not enough resolution to really tell how it installs. Glad you already bought it. I was gonna PM you to suggest you do that before someone undercut you. Most regulars here wouldn't but you never know who's "lurking"...

  3. Hi all, just an update to this post. I was finally able to locate an original NOS antenna! Probably paid too much, but it is installed and works great! Lizzy the Z and I thank you! [emoji4] K Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile

  6. Just read through these threads again recently. Hope you don't mind the dumping of this info in your thread, but figure it's useful. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php?topic=16036.0 http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,13263.0.html Be-Zed (Aubes) mentioned car #12 being in Brisbane. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,13263.msg142934.html#msg142934 #63 ended up in Perth and was a Melbourne Auto Show display car back in the day. (white w/blue interior) http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,16040.msg169702.html#msg169702 Dale owned #36 back in 97. #39 is at Ledge's shop in South Australia. https://www.facebook.com/CustomAndClassicCars/photos/pb.517478251606641.-2207520000.1438400186./836914396329690/?type=3&theater https://www.facebook.com/CustomAndClassicCars/photos/pb.517478251606641.-2207520000.1438400194./807416605946136/?type=3&theater WA Z Register. http://www.wazregister.com/index.php?title=View_ANZIS30_Register_Cars So let's see. HS30 00004 (Melbourne collector, last I heard... not sure still in AU ). HS30 00012 (Brisbane) HS30 00016 (RB26 with flares non-original car) HS30 00019 (Your car) HS30 00030 (Tasmania - WA Z Register) HS30 00036 (not confirmed still exists) - Have to ask Dale. HS30 00039 (Ledge's shop) HS30 00044 (NSW WA Z Register) HS30 00051 (NSW WA Z Register) HS30 00063 (Perth with collector/enthusiast) HS30 00084 - Great unrestored condition. (link here). HS30 00117 (WA - WA Z Register) HS30 00121 (VIC) - Dimitri (confirmed I've seen his car many times) HS30 00131 (ACT - WA Z Register) HS30 00145 (NSW - WA Z Register) HS30 00149 (Lurch) - Confirmed seen this car before... HS30 00150 (ME) - Confirmed HS30 00151 (Shannon's auctions a few years back, confirmed) HS30 00157 (QLD - WA Z Register) HS30 00165 (Was on CarSales not long ago link here, was butchered, now being turned into a Ferrari GTO replica) - Spoke to new owner. HS30 00181 (SA - WA Z Register) HS30 00183 (QLD - WA Z Register) So we know about 11 cars in total under HS30 00100. Considering some went to NZ, the UK, Australia, possibly ZA (South Africa). Who knows how many more there could be? Not many, and in what shape? Original? Modified for racing? Wrecked? Rusted? Bent? Survival rate is looking like ~10% so far...for the very first cars in Australia maybe less? Under HS30 00200 - we know of 22 cars (1 being turned into a GTO). So again this suggest a 10% survival rate and verification of certain cars is not easy and who knows if the details on WA Z Register are accurate or just details people have entered because they once owned that car. Not necessarily know if it still exists. Between 200-300 there is 7 cars. Between 300-400 there is 6 registered cars. I'm sure I've seen a few more on eBay / Gumtree recently in the 300-400 range, all in very average sad state. All this suggests less than 50 good cars (maybe 10-15 great examples max of original condition cars) in the HS30 00400 range and under. Wow!
