I have an L24 engine for sale. Totally rebuilt with Z Doctor built E31 Head with new seats, valves, guides, rockers, Isky Springs and a Stage II Isky camshaft. Block is bored .040 over with new Pistons. Brand new clutch and flywheel come with the engine. No carbs, intake, distributor or exhaust manifold. Runs perfect.....has approximately 1500 Miles. I replaced it with a 3.1 Stroker. Pick up only Richmond, Virginia........$2,000.002 points

I'd go the other way and say stay with carbs. Yes they're not as easy to setup, cause more hassle etc, however they're part of the car, its a classic car, the engine bay just looks better with carbed setup. pops/bangs/fuel smell are just part of the fun.2 points

Hi guys,I'd like to extend the opportunity to purchase some of my automotive artwork via a group buy, at a discounted rate. My latest illustration is a Datsun 240ZG that is printed on a sheet of brushed aluminum. The beauty of this process allows you to actually see the texture of the brushed aluminum, where typically you would see any white color on a paper on canvas print. The piece measures 2 feet by 8 inches tall, and comes with a wooden mount that allows you to mount it directly to any wall. You also have the option of selecting either a matte or glossy finish to the whole print.I have worked out a deal with my printer that allows me to offer a discounted rate on an order of 5 pieces or more. The minimum requirement has already been met via orders from other forums and my online store, so the is no longer a need for a minimum number of orders. PriceMy regular price for this piece is $120 shipped within the Continental US. The Group Buy price is $84.99 shipped to your door. I can only offer this deal until January 31st of this year. The print is limited to 30 pieces.PaymentPM if you are interested and I will send you the required payment information. Production time and shippingOnce payment has been received, the printing and shipping process takes roughly 6-10 combined. Tracking information will be provided.if you have any questions please feel free to post them here or pm me.I hope you like my work and thanks for your time!-dennis Also gauging interest in the same exact kind of print, but a narrow body, short nose 240Z: and for you Porsche fans:1 point

TC-24-B1Z. He might like this as a nice upgrade BTW1 point

Yeah I would +10 on those electrical upgrades from Dave. Seriously, like add to cart right now , really prevents the wiring from getting messed up, and prevents the combo switch from melting. I have not driven my 240 much, as it’s torn apart, but I hear the replacement piece to change the fuses to blade fuses is really good, the old ones have issues where they get hot/melt.. Maybe a AAA membership if your on the west coast, saved me a couple times! Tell him to join the forums, and treat the car well!1 point

Welcome Mr. Grubbs! I would highly recommend: Not cheap, but very high quality and supplied to MSA by this forum's very own Dave Irwin. @Zs-ondabrain If the car does not have this get it---I wouldn't have a Z without it. http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/classic10l/12-4651 Next would this----- http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/classic10l/12-4652 These are the 2 of best upgrades that can be done for a 240Z electrical system along with the DeoxIT Mark mentioned above. Please post more photos, especially of the engine bay and interior!1 point

Some Caig DeoxIT for all those electrical connections that are slowly corroding.1 point

The guy who did the above rendering was kind enough to change the color to something like 920 safari gold and added watanabe's. This is my goal.1 point

Right on the money . Damn AFR gauges are a great tool but you find yourself about having a wreck watching the damn thing and obsessing over it. I say for the most part these engines sound better and run better a tad rich - but might just be me.1 point

I had German language classes in middle and high school and finally got to use what little I learned/remembered 30+ years later on trips to Germany where I attended birthday parties for Ferdinand Porsche. Fortunately, he understood English better than I spoke German. Those were the days, as they say. Invited to the party, stop at the factory to pick up a "loaner" Porsche for a week (one time a 928, next time a 944S, another time a Boxster), and party like it was 1939. Good memories. Dennis1 point

I’ll give it a go. I can always paint it after if it doesn’t look right. But yes, importing their products is like doubling the prices plus the exchange rates. [emoji21]1 point

Sounds like a great platform for a project, but I'd be careful buying this car. With no title and no way to get in touch with the real owner, I'd be worried about how to actually legally buy the car. What state is the car currently titled in? Most states have provisions for "abandon" vehicles. Is that what this one is?1 point

Carpets look nice. Neat photo of the old guy... he looks like he spent his grocery money on car parts though.1 point
