  1. Update: I received my refreshed, repaired and rejuvenated switches from @Zs-ondabrain a couple of weeks ago. I've been so busy and my son is gone in the car so much that I haven't had the chance to drive it until tonight. Wow! The switches feel brand new! I could see that they looked new when they arrived. The first thing I did after the very quick and easy installation was check to see that the high/low switch works and it does, perfectly. So great to get rid of the mickey-mousey toggle switch the previous owner installed when he couldn't fix it. Too bad he didn't know about Dave's service. Not only did Dave turn around my switches in a couple of days and get them right back in the mail, but he provided a pair of loaner switches so we could keep the car on the road while he worked on ours. I don't think he usually has a spare pair around to do that (so don't assume this is normal), but it was a really great help to us. Thank you, Dave! I thought the right-side switch stalk was operating pretty well, but I sent it in with the broken (left side) switch since Dave gives a discount for doing both at the same time. I figured it'd be good for my peace of mind. But the headlight on/off twist switch works so well now, I realize it wasn't operating properly before. It's so crisp and new feeling. It ads a great new sensation to the experience of driving our Z. I can't say enough about this service. Click HERE to see the page on his site for the service. If your switches feel sloppy/tired or don't work, I really recommend you reach out to Dave. Looking forward to upgrading to his headlight and taillight harnesses - I hear they are fantastic upgrades. Thank you again, Dave, for the great service!

Eiji has started.....a new Stroker “hatched” this weekend. Who else would keep you updated with photos.....I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my engine. Note notches in block.
  3. Something inside changed i backed out on my offer after digging around for parts. Simple but never really thinking about it parts like the moutlnt plate for the wiper motor and all those guts, an entire suspension etc. Cant justify it. Id sooner buy a complete car and do a bunch of the body work myself Sent from my SM-N950W using Tapatalk

The oil works like a rust preventer
  5. OMG. Someone frame post #29. This is the best news I've heard. says Mark hesitantly. Could we be getting close? I think I'm going to start celebrating.

Finally got around to installing my new end links from Zcardepot. Bought the kit from them. $20 + shipping. As you can see in the pics I had help. My handy dandy quick grip clamp from H.F. Worked perfect. Was able to do the install without adding any weight to the corners like you read in some of the forums. An hour job total time. While I was under there I took a look around and things sure are oily under there. I think most of it is coming from my front main! Oh well, guess I'll do that next.
  7. Jalex, I'm curious about something. Who convinced you, or how did you convince yourself, that 3.2 p.s.i. isn't enough fuel pressure? We used to run an econo-rail dragster with a 327 c.i. V-8 Chevy and a Holley carb. with 3 p.s.i. Roughly twice the cubic inches as a Z and the 327 was always run at full throttle. There was never a fuel starvation problem.
  8. Thanks for the cover. You're the best!!
  9. You should have tried to trade some parts for that antenna.
  10. Mine are CX Racing coil overs and the picture of them are in the thread a few posts back. I think mine were manufactured to stock heights so I could flush mount and weld them at the collars for the most support.
  11. Bought these wheels in 1980. They are still on my Z to this day. Haven't seen any others like them. Phil Smith
  12. I always respect and admire all of you , owners in overseas. We do not have much space to store cars , parts here in Japan. I want my wife to see this thread, I am not even nuts. I may go forward ! Kats
