  1. The oil ring has a play of 0.3 till 0.9 mm maybe he mixed up top with oilring ring gap...
  2. @Home Built by Jeff, hey I went through and cleaned up your links for ya. There were some double and triple videos in the posts. Sorry it's a little confusing to post videos here. Easiest way is to copy the link from Youtube in the "share" option on the bottom right of your videos. After posting them, it should show a video directly in the forum.
  3. I'm thinking the previous builder screwed up. I agree that it could have been a units issue. Or maybe his math was just questionable. Math mistakes can crop up in the strangest places...

It was part of a test to see what could go wrong, after all. I'm sure Uber will have a lot of data to review after the lawsuit. As for driving in the Philippines, I did that for a year and a half and mostly had to dodge pigs, chickens, and guys with guns. Dennis
  5. I added this 120v solenoid for the air. So when i use my foot pedal it turns the air and the slurry pump on. Works so much better this way. I had great luck keep the slurry mixed by every 30 seconds or so pointing the jet to the bottom and mixing up the slurry mix. I could tell the slurry would be different for a bit.

  8. with the key on you can pull the plug off the oil pressure sender (down low on the block, passenger side) and the pump should run - at least it should get power... as a safety feature the fuel pump is wired to shut off if there's no oil pressure, in case of an accident where the engine is shut off and a line is ruptured. there's also a fuel pump relay to check - some of the other electrical gurus will have more specifics on these, but you should be able to hear the pump running which should help you test for the bad connection. while you're at it, might want to replace the fuel filter up front - if the tank was dirty/rusty there's a good chance that filter is toast.
