  1. One more befor go to bed , this set of tools is belonging to a 260Z sold in UK , just gorgeous, plenty of tools. This full set of tools is just like Nissan Cedric, a luxury sedan . Please note the Nissan hamburger marks does not have “ Nissan “ in it . This will be a sign that this car would build late 1973 or later . Kats
  2. Now it is my turn , I will give my "0 G " (to be Jul 1970) chocks to someone , just like Jim did it for me . If someone needs it , please let me know. I noticed variation of the sticker , my Dec 1971 and Jun 1972 cars have the sticker which shows single picture for how to stow . But other cars like late 1972 and 1973 cars have the sticker which shows triple step for how to stow . Kats
  3. Hi , today I would like to show this, a set of 9 K chocks . They are provided by Jim , Zup here . Thank you so much Jim , I am so glad that the perfect matching date chocks are in my Z432’s tool bin !! I took pictures, thank you ! PS : you see the extra tools in the picture, a monkey wrench and a tire pressure gauge. They are my choice , I imagined when first owner bought the car , he would have chosen those tools from a Nissan dealer as an optional item . Other tools are STD for Z432 . Kats
  4. Well, it finally happened. After much patience, frustration, and personal injury and many days of defeat the 280z finally started. I installed the fuel tank today and that was a royal PITA. No jack and doing it alone was painful. Somehow the stars aligned and it it worked. Still can’t believe all the crap that I had to do to get this car started. No way it could have happened without great dudes on this forum. You guys led me the whole way so thank you. Check out the link the a successful start.
  5. Here's a unique Z-car shop in England that specializes in restoration and customizing -- with impressive results: http://mzr-datsun240z.co.uk/en/
  6. And there was some beer involved. And grease. Lots of grease. The aftermath: You, my friend, definitely earned your keep yesterday!
  7. Darn right. It was epic! Two more Z's with tight new rear bearings headed for the road soon!!
  8. I have never seen “ box wrench “ , ” set drivers “ , etc . One thing I want to tell you is , Fairlady Z parts catalogs never showen those tools in it. And also they do not have a section of “ audio “ and “ key “ , as well as “ model NO . Plate “ etc. I attached pictures which are never indicated in the Fairlady Z parts catalogs. I am still wondering how did they take an order from customer without those descriptions in their book ? This is my biggest question about the Fairlady Z parts catalogs. Kats

  10. Unfortunately I don't think I have another rusty car in me, the Doc has told me I better start taking care of my lungs from now on and that includes rust, paint, welding smoke... Jim has been very gracious about me jamming out on the deal and I thank him for that. Have to start looking for cars that some other guy has dumped his time and money into for a change.
