  1. Rod did a dry fit of the carbs that came back from Z Therapy. It's amazing that you can hand a rusty, heavily oxidized SU carb setup, fuel rails, heat shield, etc., and they send you back this! Bruce, if you're on this forum, I just want to commend you and your team at Z Therapy for an amazing service and outstanding transaction! This picture doesn't do it justice. It looks better in person.
  2. Price Reduced Datsun 240Z Oil Pan cleaned and plated, includes new gasket, brand new plated bolts and reinforcement brackets. $115 shipped.
  3. You need to get your head on straight Cliff -lol put that 31 on there! Shave some more off of it first just for the hell of it.
  4. My rebuilt booster came with a brand new rubber diaphragm, so it's clear that there are already people who make that part. The problem is availability to the commoner not in the brake rebuilding business. I think it would be a lot easier to cultivate a relationship with someone who already makes this part than to pull a mold off an existing part. Someone here on the forum must know a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a guy's cousin in that business who would like to make a few extra bucks selling parts instead of complete units. And don't forget that the poppet valve and seal that rides on it are an issue as well. That's what I think is wrong with mine. Works most of the time, but occasionally still sticks. (Thankfully it has only happened on the first brake push of the day and I'm still in the driveway.)
  5. Actually there is very little difference between the n42 and late e88 in the L26 . The only difference is the N42 has the bigger intake valve .Same chamber size on both. Better clear it yourself or the valves will take care of it
  6. I think it would be great if Steve would make a mold of it. I don't know if he would be willing to reproduce it but the mold would be a good start. @nix240z
  7. I think it should go to Steve Nixon for the community.
  8. 1 point
Dupont, PPG, whomever, your local auto body paint supplier should be able to dig up the formula if you give them the year and paint code.
  9. I was able to reroute the current line and get really close, so I'm just going to buy a little extension and connect it to the radiator. Thanks for all the help.
