  1. Nice photo work from Datsun guy Matt Dockery: http://www.speedhunters.com/2018/05/this-is-why-we-love-classic-motorsports/ https://offcamberimages.com/traffic/the-mitty
  2. Hey guys i was the one who bought the collection from Roger, the reason i listed the body kits and the other extra parts that i won't be using so soon is that i literally do not have the capacity in my shop to hold them and would rather see them go to people who want to use them than me store them out in the elements which is what i would be forced to do. Im also more of a purist with zs so that had some impact on my decision lol , but anyways if anyone is needing any extra parts for their s30 let me know, im sure i have something laying around, call me at 770-361-8955 or my friend at 770-722-7250. Also I would like to add that Roger (Tenessee Z man) is probably one of the coolest z guys ive met, hes an expert on these cars and i gained a wealth of knowledge from him and he was very pleasant to deal with, i hope hell be able to come down and see my shop soon.
  3. The first of the 31 remaining cars left out today headed for GA. At this time the new owner isn't planning on selling anything. My guess is he'll wait until he's gone through every bit of it and decide what he wants to keep and sell. I will post any information about them here if he lets me know anything later on. I wanted to post the photo's because it's pretty cool seeing so many on a trailer. Even though it's sad that they're leaving.
  4. Its all been mentioned, but from the photo it looks like your lower control arm is not horizontal and pointing downwards. That will effect the angle of the link bolt and point it towords the wheel and away from the swaybar eye. The swaybar is flexable to a certain degree to absorb all the in and outwards movements caused when the lower control arms go through their radius. You will find it easier to fit if you adjust your coilover until the lower control arms are horizontal. Make sure the link bolt is not too tight so you can manouver it through the swaybar eye. Btw. Your set up looks neat.?
  5. Sorry I forgot to take pics when I disassembled it. Does look like its missing some gasket or whatever. Anyway leak stopped. Not sure if retightening the lock ring bolts did it. Also I wet sanded the stain as I couldn’t stand seeing it anymore. Looks normal once again. Thanks 12/70 260 motor, MSD, Weber 40s, 3/2 headers, Twice pipes, Tokico Ilumina, Eibach, 1, 3/4 in sways, ext oil cooler
  6. Cool pics! Never heard of the Lombardi OTAS. Thanks for that. Looks a lot like the Lotus Europa minus the Frenched headlights. http://mycarquest.com/2012/07/otaslombardi-grand-prix-cars-in-pennsylvania.html https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lombardi_Grand_Prix https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lotus_Europa#Series_1
  7. I almost bought a 190SL they have have really increased in value since then!
  8. Thanks, like to have photos. PS I’m the guy who traveled from The Republic of Korea in 1970 to watch the “RRofChampions. Saw John Morton and BRE win in that beautiful 240Z. Came home in May 1971, ordered our Z, it has 87,000 miles. And, in 2018 got to race against John at Road Atlanta in my other 240Z. ? What a great weekend.
  9. I think the dome screws will interchange. I seem to remember scavenging screws from my collection of flat top carburetors when I swapped over to the early carburetors.
  10. Z Car Depot just sent out a mailer saying they have them back in stock.
  11. They're on "back order" now but you could call and ask about an ETA. http://www.futofab.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=131&Itemid=118#a_frontb I put these on mine and am very happy with them. He has a sale at Christmas and probably hasn't gotten his stock back up yet? Good luck.
  12. 1 point
Very happy......still running SU’s. The engine is a torque monster!
  13. It seems like you have a lot of binding with that sway bar. I use an aftermarket bar and it pivots easily in the bushings so there's no issue connecting the end links. Maybe you can use a C clamp or something to pull the sway bar closer. Chuck
  14. Rubber bushings or poly? That set up looks like big suspension bind to me. Run it for awhile not hooked up. May feel better without swaybar.
