  1. Sat outside for past 11 years. Last time I ran it was on a track. It has always been a test mule so it has become an experiment in rust Here it is yesterday. Resuscitation is underway : \ \ \
  2. My friend Mike Lee's photos.
  3. I wish all you lucky rascals a great day! My dog is laying beside me I bed and that makes me happy. I can't imagine something that could tell me happy fathers day. Enjoy the day Dads!

Here we go!!!!! Brandon’s coming over to help with the install. Everything is ready for out with the old....in with the new! 240mm two plus two clutch collar also.
  5. I put together a little group caravan to cars and coffee this morning. Then our friend with the LFA joined us. My dad drove his green Z, I drove his safari gold, Eiji brought his G nose, my friend Michael brought the Hakosuka and then our other friend has the LFA. I will post my photos first. Then my friend Mike Lee's which make mine look like cell phone shots.
  6. Vapor blasting sure does wonders.
  7. I was instantly a fan of anyone who could do those kind of repairs and mods while lying underneath a jacked-up car parked outdoors on on a crushed-rock driveway. None of that 3-bay-garage, epoxy-coated floor stuff for our Mr. Blue. Always made me wonder, though: Aren't there any mosquitoes or blackflies in Nova Scotia?
  8. Happy Fathers Day guys!! Enjoy your kiddos!!
  9. ...Who came back with some unfortunate tattoo's...... Still an old friend though. I've alway's loved those stripes on that blue. I even seriously considered it when I was choosing paint for mine. I'm happy to know that this car still exists. A legend in my mind at least...
  10. Brandon’s coming over to help install the new Stroker 3.1. Can’t ask for better than that!
  11. Nice photos! The G-Nose would be my pick of the litter. No offense Guy but it's cool factor is waaaay up there.
  12. This is like saying hello to an old friend that you've missed for a long time. I expected to see a photo showing your feet under the car up on wood blocks used for jackstands with a tub of grease in your hand. Beautifully brutal shots of Blue in the massive winter you have there, yet followed by the lush greens of a new season. Memory lane. Thank you Phillip and Blue!
  13. Battery cables not original. Those blue PU sway bar end link bushings are a complete buzz killer along with the exhaust patch complete with the famously "original" worm gear clamp @JSM mentioned. Nice car but wtf---why nose dive it on minor details if you are asking top dollar. All dressed up in a tux and a booger hanging off your nose!
  14. Have you tried contacting the seller via ebay to ask?
  15. Working on a Nikki fuel pump for my series 1. My 240z didn’t come with the original fuel pump. Bought this one on eBay and also a nos one from Datsun 500 for 30$. The plan is to use the screws and all the rubber gaskets and internals. It’s a little more haggered then I would have wanted. Hopefully it comes out nice. The internals of the pumps are identical. I will vapor blast the 240z Nikki body and it should look brand new. I am using this write up for guidance. https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/50679-rebuilding-the-nikki-fuel-pump/
  16. Oh that’s right. It’s been so long I forgot all about that.
  17. I don't recall any 280z or 280zxt having a oil temp sensor. Maybe the auto's did? I thought the later 280z ran the same 2 prong oil pressure sensor like the 280zxt. Regardless, if it's different unscrew the 280z one and screw it into the 280zxt. The oil pressure wire should be on the passenger side coming out of the engine bay harness from memory. (Not the Fuel Injection Harness). Also, make sure you clean all the grounds on the ZXT harness very well and all the associated plugs andupgrade the injector clips to modern ones as I'm sure the old ones are likely toast.
  18. No inline fuse in a 78. As IdahoKiddd suggested, check the fuse. Left side of the fusebox, third fuse up from the bottom, 20A. which is labled AIR CON/AIRE ACON whether or not you car has AC.
