  1. Yes, there's actually two of them. one in front of the plate and one behind. But I believe those two small holes will be blocked off by the simple plate. It's the big ones that need additional work other than just a flat plate.
  2. Just announced - 400 rooms added to the block at the same rate. Get 'em before they're gone!

Yes, used wire wheels for clean-up. I have a number of different styles and used most of them. Will use the steel wool and phosphoric acid for final rear cover clean-up and shine. That seems to work well together. The mounting studs came out 'by themselves'. The locknuts seem to hold on to the studs better than the rear cover.

Started cleaning up the differential. I will leave the back cover bare aluminum and paint the main housing the standard black color. Would have painted the diff tonight but it is actually raining out. Doesn't happen very often here in So-Cal. Cover bolts are out at the plating shop and should be back in a couple weeks. The Energy Suspension Kit and shocks will arrive tomorrow. Hopefully the engine will be back from the machine shop by the end of the week,
  6. The ZCCA is trying to increase the block of rooms. This is going to be a busy convention.
  7. I was able to make a reservation yesterday thru the link ZCCA provided. It looks like only King bed rooms are available now, no rooms with the two doubles. Keep in mind these are suites so there is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.
  8. A fellow on FB (Mark Shep) just posted a quick article about how he replace his choke cable sheath and core wire. He showed poictures of what he had done and he gave us the URL of the company he found that supplied the wire and sheath. Just had a quick look, seems that have quite a bit of inventory. Should be useful to use in the future. http://www.controlcables.com/ He measured the stock sheath and told them what he needed and they set him up, so we don't have specific part numbers but now we have another vendor to somehow remember.
  9. Going after a birthday present for my friends little boy. This one requires no thought. Sent from my N9130 using Tapatalk
