Thank you Mr X. Happy to hear you took the step to become part of the solution by removing yourself from the mutation pool. I want to stamp this thing out, and as long as there are enough hosts out there for this bug to propagate, we're at risk. So for all you people who cheer that fact that restrictions are being relaxed. Woo hoo! It's awesome, isn't it? All you people who like the fact that the numbers are going down. Yay! That's fantastic, right? Well if you like the results but have not gotten a vaccine yourself, you're setting us up for another round when this thing mutates and pokes through the vaccine. If you like the benefits, become part of the reason things are getting better. Don't rely on your friends and neighbors to fix the problem for you. Everybody's got an agenda, right? My agenda? I don't want to go through this ever again. I want life to go back to normal. I don't want to wear a mask. I miss seeing my Z friends and I guess I'm willing to go out on a limb a little bit for not just myself, but for other people as well. We're all in this together. So go get a vaccine! Get yourself out of the pool of mutation donors!

It was management telling us two weeks after the shot you don’t have to wear a mask on the airplane, at the shift start pep rally. Before I signed into a job I searched the company web page on Covid, followed the link to find a shot, my local small town pharmacy (I live in the sticks) had an appointment for the J&J shot. We get two hours paid, I left early and headed to the county. Got there early, nobody around but me and the pharmacist, so she stuck me, put a Hello Kitty band aid on my bicep, I chilled for 15 minutes and headed home. Other than a headache I’ve been OK. The injection site doesn’t even hurt. In two weeks I’m invincible. Yippy skippy.

They'll have an exta foot. Oh wait, I have a third foot. And Happy Father's Day to everyone, the four footed children too. Mine...

Johnson & Johnson, one and done. In two weeks time Racer will be one of you.
  6. Maybe use a friend of your friends? They make $15 an hour around here so a Benjamin goes a long way.
  7. There’s only so much you can do since it’s not supposed to be public knowledge I don’t want my friend getting in trouble but yeah if we find the vin or plate we are good
  8. Mine was broken (the rubber) and as a cheap repair i once welded a u type of metal under it with a fat piece of rubber in between... HAHAHA after 10 years it's still on there !!! 😂
  9. Here is how I check the diff nose mount. Stick the pry bar in, push up on the handle. If the mount is torn, you’ll see it separate.
  10. I went from MI to AZ, so I think I'm just as far away from you as I was before. Same goes to you Cliff. If you ever make it to the desert, let me know.
  11. I chucked one right after a rebuild. I was breaking the motor in and heard a god awful tick from the valve train. Jeff told me the easy way to fix it and I've not had an issue since. @Jeff G 78 got instant hero status and respect from this guy. If you're ever in Alabama dinner and drinks are on me.

Was it the free beer, doughnuts or not wanting to get it again? Regardless, glad to hear. We may shake hands someday at a ZCON meet.

I always tuned my carbs with the vacuum advance connected. Leaving the hose off will act the same as a vacuum leak, on that carb, and the mixture will change when it's all hooked up. I'd try retuning the carbs with the v. advance hooked up. Why do do want to install a dual point distributor? Personally, I prefer single point distributors.
  14. No original early S30s in black. Any black one's you see are repaints. Is he married? If he is elicit some help digging through potential paperwork
  15. Not a single picture of the nose mount on the diff showing the condition of the rubber. I would take a look there, use a pry bar and see if there is any play. Those mounts tear somtimes, and that might be the clunking you are hearing. Also check the u joints on the driveshaft and half shafts.
  16. If he's with the same insurance company, maybe they know. If he's like my dad he kept paperwork going back decades
  17. Heck, I didn't need to do much of a search to find him. 😉 It is *ahem* interesting to go through his feed. By the way, the marriage didn't last...
