  1. Oh, and by the way... Great minds think alike! Here's some pics of mine I made who knows how many years ago. I used a cheap-o 12-point though because I figured that since I was going to be clamping the crap out of it with vice grips anyway, I opted for the maneuverability instead of the strength: Battle scars on the outside from all the vice-grips:
  2. Thanks for the ideas. i have noticed that the fuel bowls were empty but just blamed it on the fuel pump, not thinking about clogged needles in the float chambers. i've actually added fuel to the fuel bowls with a syringe and it will run for a minute or two until the bowls are empty again. Bottom line is that i will try all the above recommendations and see how it goes. grateful for everyone's input. What a great site .

Check the voltage at the battery while cranking. I'll bet it's pretty low, too. You don't say how old the battery is. Maybe you did earlier, but I'm not going back to see. The plates could be sulfated, they can still have adequate voltage while sitting, but they don't have the surface area for the electron flow needed during cranking.
  5. Foot in mouth, figuratively. The knob adjust the nozzle into the needle so I am wrong. SORRY!
  6. At least its made in the USA.
  7. Wait a min! I see a serious flaw with your car. You might want to see if you can sell it back. Someone put the steering wheel on the wrong side of the car! Joking aside....welcome to the forum and congrats on car, looks like a good find especially in the UK where those cars are super rare! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. These are great great aircraft. We are getting a new 767 almost monthly. I have been considering moving over the the 767. I already have the Type Rating and the pay is higher but I’d lose seniority which mean less control of my schedule, which mean less time with family. The aircraft are similar from flying standpoint. Most don’t like the 767 layout of the cockpit area with the 3 seats and the Lav in the cockpit but apparently it was initially built for UPS and we didn’t want to pay to change that. That’s awesome you build these things, something to be proud. ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Ha! Triple 40 Weber Carbs....because sometimes you need to let everyone know you have a big cigar 😊
  10. This may help, it'd the parts numbers of all the gaskets in the factory kit for the 240Z.
  11. Hi AK260, Thanks! I'm up in the North East near Darlington, so a fair way from you! I'm definitely planning to attend events though.... My son is pretty keen for us to do a few road trips! I'll get myself registered on Zclub and I'll look forward to meeting you next year I'll also be flipping the indicator lenses! It wasn't me honest!!
  12. Thanks for the tag! Hey Dave - very lovely looking car and I suspect you are right about it being the youngest in the UK. Unless you’ve already done so and I missed it, pop over to the UK site too www.Zclub.net and let’s see if we can get you along to an event next year. Where in the country are you? I’m down in Surrey at Ict6 of the M25. Hope to meet you in person and see this beauty up close. Ps. Your side indicators are indeed on backwards as mentioned already :p
  13. Yes, It's easy to remove with hot tap water. Just hold the assembly under the kitchen tap for a minute or so and the white glue will let go. I have photos somewhere. Ill post them later. I made my amber replacements 4 or 5 years ago and I think I have some of the first examples. They are not perfect, but if someone wants to try them you can have them. I just need to find them.
  14. You know we should probably have a copy of the parts reference numbers on this site. If carpartsmanuals closes their servers I think we would all be upset.
  15. I double checked with the parts CD that @Mike used to sell on this site. The text isn't very clear, but it looks like the dates shown on CarPartsManual.com are not correct.
  16. Congrats Brandon on a great build......Best in Show at SEMA 2021.
