  1. I finally got my valance, Air Dam and hood vents back from paint. Came out great. Unfortunately I told them to hold off on painting the 3 valance pieces. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to keep the Xenon air dam or go back to stock. The message apparently didn’t get relayed to the painter so I had to pay for all of it. It’s fine, now I can go either way later on if It gets damaged or I want to got back to stock.
  2. Another temporary option after a little filing.

I would replace the whole line, it feels better than a patch job on an old line. Did the line rust out? Where will it leak next? See this thread for tools and info.
  4. A lot has to do due with shape of a 240z fuel tank. The top of the tank on the passenger side is higher and that is where the sender resides. The majority of the 15.9 gallons is contained in the lower half of the tank. This may make sense once you look at the tank and location of the sender.
  5. 10mm outside diameter. Seem them on the couple of 69 510’s I’ve worked on recently as well doing the same duty.
  6. sometimes its hard to see when the stamped numbers are full of "nasty". Just count the teeth if you can't find it.
  7. My car is certainly not as complex as yours but my experience was to pull the interior connectors thru the firewall into the engine bay. I pushed them thru one connector at a time. It helps to get the grommet pushed out first.
  8. It allows the schemers/scammers to tell you things without the larger audience able to call them out if what they say is untrue. They can persuade and con in private. Just like a salesperson trying to corner you in a showroom. Get you talking and just start working the sale.

It seems like the float chambers are running out fuel really fast. With the ckokes on the nozzles are dropped lower adding more fuel. I would get section of clear hose and check the levels. That's the easiest way to get an idea of where you're at. Should be even with the mark at the yellow arrow. You get that hose at Lowe's or Home Depo. I think it's 1/4". Just one 2 foot piece is all you need. Cheap and easy.
