Try soaking the stubborn and broken bolt with Kano Kroil. And I mean really soak them and let them sit for a couple of days. After that, try heating up the area around the bolts with a propane torch (go easy here), and just keep working to remove. The bolts are surrounded with oxidation.1 point -
Try splitting the cover off of the pump body, 5 and 1. That's probably where the stuck bolt is stuck.

1 pointSame boat. I’ll be tearing mine apart to do bushings and joints over the summer. Looking forward to seeing how it goes for you 🙂 I am dreading the spindles! Mine also has clunking and I landed on the technoversions mount instead of the strap. Haven’t seen any bad issues with it other than getting the correct amount to cut the bushing is sometimes a pain. But if the diff is off the car it’s cake.1 point -

1 pointI have seen descriptions of it being done. You have to put the number one cylinder in a certain spot so that you can get the pan past the counterweight. But rod bearings don't go bad quickly on these engines. If you have rod bearing problems there's probably a lot more wrong that needs fixing. You didn't say what car you're working on. Looks like somebody put a lot of work in to it. Why not the last piece though? Makes no sense!
