i had a problem with my SUs like that, as far as the sticking air piston.. Try loosening the nut at the bottom of the carb and letting the needle adjust itself in the sleeve, wiggle it back and for just a bit But not hard!! maybe that will also solve the suction problem.. if not try opening the idle screw slightly.. hope i helped..
JZM- i am interested in meeting up with you on the 5, are you planning on driving straight through from Wa to CA? then what time are you leaving WA? how long will your drive be?
I am looking for a set of 4 inch diameter springs, the stock ones are about 5/8" thick and 9 inches tall for my skyline.. if any one knows of anything almost equal too, Please let me know... i lowered my car but don't want to chop the stock ones just incase i want to put it back to normal height.. the bump stops are alittle rough!! Does anyone know if any Z springs are close to that size? thank you
is that an air conditioner in the center console?? ive seen them on yahoo japan auctions, but expensive!! also your interior is in great shape, is it original??
your right, i got my words mixed up.. thank you. But still has anyone seen it done? i have the L20A motor sitting around and if its a good combination i would install the setup. just looking for some advice from someone with more experience..
I am trying to find out if any one has done or seen an L20A crank in a L28 block and what it does for perfomance. Logically it should allow the motor to rev up faster.. Also, what type of connecting rods and pistons were used for proper deck clearance? If you are wondering how i got an L20A, my skyline original had one installed, i need more power :stupid: !!! thank you, chris
