I think you should count yourself lucky to have a store like MSA, I wish there was a store like that here in Australia I could buy from, instead over the past few years I've had to pay O/S shipping rates which isn't cheap.

I told her it was to keep the car period correct(even though its a reissue) and that it was an appreciating asset, she told me she wanted some jewelery from tiffanys.

Thanks Geezer, I've bought from RHDjapan a few times but I didn't know they dealt with used items also. The trust headers I'm looking at are new and on special so they already have the blue ceramic coating on them which is a selling point for me as the coating isn't cheap. I do love the fujitsubo exhaust system though, I was thinking of buying those myself but with shipping its too expensive. I've spent a fortune the last couple of months and my shell is still on a rottisorie! I just spent almost $600 on a NOS 10th anniversery compe steering wheel, I just had to have it, its not easy hiding the purchases from the missus especially when she is sitting right next to me.

Thanks, I think I'm going to go with the ceramic trust headers, stainless then ceramic coated would be nice but would cost too much money.

Sorry to bring back an old thread but I'm also thinking of buying one of these trust headers for my 240z, I was also looking at the fujitsubo headers in stainless, what would be better ceramic coated or stainless? I think I read somewhere the blue on the trust ones is ceramic coated.

Looked awesome mate , definetly a head turner, I wouldn't mind one next to my 240z.

Nice work, I must say you guys are lucky when it comes to having spare roofs lying around, its almost impossible to find one here in Australia!

Techno toy tuning is a well known store amongst the z community, while i haven't bought that item before I've had good dealings with them on parts to Australia a couple of times. http://www.technotoytuning.com/index2.php
  12. I just measured my blasted 240 struts and there just about spot on what John says, mine are 2.002-5. The ID of my GC sleeves are about 2.072.
  13. I guess thats why I'm worried about the weld on rings as the sleeve isn't that snug on my 240z struts and the when you slide it on the ring its only sitting on a small ledge inside the sleeve, I'm worried if it moves too much it may fall off that ledge.
  14. Mate I live in Australia and I don't think there's much left, I even bought doors from the US because I couldn't find anything decent over here. Parts are getting harder and harder to find.
  15. I've got a question about GC coilovers, how come almost every pic I've seen people are using the platorm type weld on ring instead of the type below where the coilover slides over the ring?

I know the genuine z ones aren't available any more (well the right one is) but I've seen some people are using the chrome 510 ones instead which from what I've read have a shorter stalk, my question is can these be mounted in the factory location without a restricted view?
  17. Those are the part numbers on my boxes.

I just picked up my set from a dealer in Australia, they were ordered from Japan.
