I think he should sell that mustang he has in the pic and keep the Z and take th rims off and put some 16" panasports or wats.

I dont see the big deal sure hes asking to much and the rims are too big and it has no g-nose, but I've definitly seen worse. You should post some links to ebay auctions of people askin 2-5k for parts cars and rust buckets...I would drive her at least the Z's looks as though some money has been invested in her and was kept well. BTW: You think this is bad you guys remember the non running parts car 1970 Z that was relisted countless times with boxed flames and corvette lights now that was terrible. The guy wanted $3700

I understand you about them being in your town taking up jobs and space and causing havoc I get enough of it here. Just because im of that color too I get grouped in with them, but what dont like is how V8 posted this video to bring ruckuss on a topic that has been discussed too much and we the members of the forum fell for it. Did you notice that he hasn't left one comment yet hes proabably laughing some where behind his computer screen. Back on topic those people or thugs , criminals any name you want to give them probably will never move back to N.O some of them at least if they change the living environment and go up on living so I feel sorry for what you nice people in other states have to go through.

Amen to that Jmortensen, and it just eats at me everytime i see something of this matter. Its undeniably funny how some people of a certain crowd can stay in the past. Sure, there are still persons of my ethinic that are arrogant, ignorant and just plain act in a unreasonble matter (trust me I know I have to deal with it everyday), but you can tie everyone in one group. You are right about hills( glad we dont visit martinsville anymore one word Hilly) I dont know maybe the guy left a typo or didnt know what tranny he put in he told me via e-mail and on his ad ( couldn't in person he's in texas) that it was a 200sx tranny and was replaced because the original "I still have the stock transmission pieces, but the synchros were shot. 2nd and 3rd ground. The 5spd I installed I pulled out of a working car I parted out, and I know its in good shape." - Sellers words. Its a '84 200sx tranny, and what I mean by practicing shifting skills is actually learning how to shift period( I think i said in my first post that I didnt drive her yet my dad did because I'm not too keen on shifting right now, so i have no idea what pattern it goes in and wont be able to find out till next week)...

ZBane- It has the twice pipes set up it looks like the one off MSA(not sure tho). I dont think its like the one in the thread you posted, aren't those the dual exhaust that has a pipe on both sides? Eitherway its a bit loud, but it sounds great (I just love that old car sound). Yeah thats exactly what my dad was trying to figure out what was the deal with the large fuel filter he thought it was two oil filter till I pointed out the difference( hes use to big american muscle.

I'm not sure, but im definilty going to look into it. Its funny how as soon as my dad heard that I wanted a Datsun he couldn't believe it he though I was joking, but once he realised that I was serious. Ever since then he's started going on and on about what we could do with the car( He is a Car Man that is his profession its what he loves) like droppin a small block in her ( not what i want) or adding superchargers. Upgrading the camshaft and addin big wheels and finders ( which would be nice but definitly not me)

Thanks guys it suprises me that the engine is the cleanest part of the car ( this is an older pic he replace most of the things you see now and clean it even more)

More pics and more info the dash has the infamous crack down the middle but other than that its perfect.the interior is good for what it is. The car has only a litlle surface rust and most of that has been cleared by the seller before i bought the car ( the silver primed spots all over the car) The hood has been test painted and it has decent wheels to me for a start as I work on the car. The tires are almost new and the engine is clean the headvalve cover just needs to be crome'd . The tranny was swapped to a 84 200sx tranny and is smoth as a babies botton my dad drove her to test her seeing as I didnt want to hurt the lady before I bought her...im alittle sticky with shifting right now. Shock towers valance fender floor pans (although a little dented) trunk area and frame rails are all clear of rust.
