well guys I know your tired of reading my posts of almosts, but this ones for sure I' ve found out that the first Z that Ive ever seen in person has not been sold infact its right around the corner from me literally. Remeber me mentioning my step dads karate instructors Z and how I thought it was a 280z well I was wrong its a 240 or 260z. I think its a 240 because of the bumbers, but I didnt get a chance to look at the front turning signals to confirm cause it hase no emblems except front. Anyway since I know he was intending to sell it and since hes my step dads instructor Im going for it. Its very nice most likely has some rust somewhere but none that is directly noticible. Knowing the instructor its probably in good shape cause he has this very old mercades and various other excellent condition cars. Its white with red interior super small and its an Automatic no biggie i can always do an transmission swap later. I'ill post pics soon very nice needs work of course but it beautiful to me well i guess i better start doing the finishing touches on my savings to ensure she gets into my garage if not Dave your cars the next lady wish me luck.

Thats good to hear that you found a car what kind of car did you get, sure i would be interested if the car isnt sold with in 2 months. Inform if the Z is sold so ill know If not ill by her.

Yep i consider any Z car(besides the 80s no offense) but its just that if a good 240z comes along imma snatch it, unfourtunetly this aint it. Im looking at a couple 280z and yes i have gotten more results from looking for a 280z but must are way over price like $6,500 $5,000 or $7000 or has already been customize and i want the feeling of doing some work im a hands on kinda person i like fixing things. My step dads akido instructor had a white 280z I believe(could've been a 240 it had the vented black thing on the hatch door). I was 13 then so dont remember exactly and thats when I fell in love with the car. It wasnt in the greatest condition, but it had the headlight covers and was white ever since then I had to have one. To bad he sold It, it was a Automatic, but I wouldve purchased it from him. Later on my step dad Informed me that he got it from an auction

I've decided not to bid on the count of the transmission and rust above the wheels. I have found 3 Zs in the Va area that are will to work with me one has a 350small block might pass on that one. I really want a 240z because of the rarity and the fact it started it all, plus its slightly smaller weighs less and the BRE spook fits and my favorite year is the 72. I've taken up another job besides fixing computers and plan on finding a Z in VA for a least $500-$2100. Even the ones that are $1000-$2000 are rust buckets here and it doesnt help that I'm resticted to only instate cars sigh(if not I would been had one in either NC or MD area).
