original 240Z for sale
I agree with bambikiller. I'd spend the 13K on a car i can drive home (even if it is from Canada). I would probably haul the car if it was in that kind of pristine condition, but you all get the point. $13K for a car one cant drive is ridiculous.

looking for 77 280 z rear bumper
A while back I needed a rear bumper for my 76 and there was an old z sitting at a shop in stillwater, oklahoma called "Import world". I called the guy about the bumper and he said I could have it for like $25. When I went to get it, I noticed that it was a 77 and not compatible with my 76. I do not have the number, but it should be listed. The car is gone now, but maybe just moved. It would be worth a try to look up the number and give them a call.

Buy Opportunity
This SOUNDS like a fantastic deal. The only concern I would have is if the seller is needing cash (for repairs on another vehicle), why is he agreeing to a trade? You may find out if they know about this website and find out their login name. Then you could search for past posts by this person. Just an idea. I hope it turns out to be a great deal for you.

Nissan Racing Simulator Game For PC.
i got the game to word just fine. once the install.zip file is extracted, double-click the "VSP Install" icon and then the "info" button, and there are installation instructions included. very easy.

full dash cover
I currently have a custom dash mat and would also like to see some opinions of the full hard dash cover. does it stay in place with velcro or stickers or is it such a tight fit that it stays in place all by itself?

Removing undercoating
I used the hammer and chisel method and it worked great when we got one of those lovely 105 degree afternoons here in Oklahoma (no heat gun or lamp needed). I think I lost about 10lbs in sweat the day i took the undercoating off my Z. Total time for both sides took about 4 hours.

saw the 350z
I agree with the last post. I would love to have one now but I will wait for about 3 or 4 years and get a used one. By then the aftermarket add on selection will be greater as well. This way Nissan gets the bugs worked out and I will be more educated about the car by then. The only thing I would like to see is more color choices or recreations of original 240/260/280 colors.

Feeling a LITTLE unsafe.
We got some beautiful weather today in Oklahoma (72 degrees), so I decided to take a drive. While at an intersection a car ran a yellow light and almost T-Boned another car. It got me thinking about my Z. I'm 5'11" and 225 lbs and the broader shoulder witdth puts me right up against the door. I could'nt imagine what a wreck would look like in the Z versus my 2000 Maxima. Even with my 85 300zxt and 91TT I felt like there was more car between me and the elements. Just some thoughts for those who like to drive a little crazy, which we are all guilty of once in a while.

Headlight Problem
I'm in need of a little help. The headlights on my 76 are not coming on. The parking lights and all other lights are working fine. The headlights worked about 2 weeks ago (one really dimmer than the other, but that's another problem). Any suggestions? Thanks!

240Z in movies
I remember the 280ZX in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. The sleazy electronics salesman who takes Jennifer Jason Leigh out for a "date". It's that copper color if I recall it correctly.

Floorpan Insulation Removal
I just removed that nasty stuff from my floorpans and this is the first time i am glad to live in the heat of Oklahoma. I just let the car sit in the sun for a couple hours. Then, with a 3" stiff paint scraper and a rubber mallet, I scrapped away. It was pretty easy once it got hot and plyable. I also have heard of people using a hot shop light to heat up the floor and then scrape. hope that helps.

MSA's floorpan restoration kit?
Has anyone used the "floor restoration kit" from the MSA catalog. The one that costs $120 and contains the epoxy, POR-15 and other items? Just looking for some opinions.

Pic of my wheel
Very nice. I have the same stickers on my wheels. Best $2 I ever spent.

What is this car?
Judging by the size of the car, I'm guessing it's a kit on top of a Fiero. I'd seen a similar Ferarri kit on one several years ago.

Ford Tempo Topaz forum......
I thought the best part of the website is that they felt the need to distinguish themselves from all those other worldly Tempo/Topaz clubs. "The Tempo Topaz Club of North America". Whats next, the "Red, 1982, Manual Transmission, Chevrolet Citation Enthusiasts Club of Venezuela"?

1976 280z front and back bumper ends needed.
james, thanks again for meeting me and getting me those bumper ends. When i got home and looked at them in the light. they are acutally front bumer ends. This works out fine because of the front and rear on my car. the front needed the pieces the most. thanks again. pete p.s. lets get all of the oklahoma members of this club together for a small rally of our own. cant let all of the coastal people have all the fun.

got my new Z!
The car looks great. By any chance to you have the dimensions of the box you built for the rear speakers. Also, if you have any pics of the box before you installed it. This may help all of us who wish to save $150 on a MSA unit. Thanks!!
