Well, I call Rebello's Racing and talked to an engine builder there and he said that the notches or ring positioners are suppose to be on the same side. Hope this helps someone else going through the same situation.

Hi Everyone, Question, rod n rod caps, are the notches on the same side or opposite? Got my engine balanced and the rods came back with numbers but some have notches on same side and others have them on the opposite side. Checked with book and it doesn't mention any place about orientation. Thanks a Mill,
