Im looking for a Z to make a dragster out of. Any Z Any year. Definately not looking for a good driver, would hate to tear up a decent car. If anyone knows of one around the Ohio area, please let me know. Im willing to travel to get it, just dont want to have to go across the country for it.

has this car been fixed up or if its completely gone now?

i mean i would do it..but then again im also going to be doing this to a 280zx, only bc if was my fiances uncles car and that is all they have to remember him by now...

maybe you could just send them to me to put on the car and ill just use them til u decide...

get the wiring and ecu from the car as well, to make the install alot easier. also you will have to run a return line to the fuel tank as well.

heck for the 290 price, isnt there anyone who makes new tanks anymore? that would be alot cheaper i would think.

i know that the radiator shop by me does tanks for 60 or 65 bucks. and it usually only takes them a day or two to get it done.

what type of battery would be a good one to get? should i just spend the extra now and get an optima battery or not?

what are some of the things that should have been done as normal maintence and changed. i know that they really just changed the oil regularly and that was about it.

thanks for the info on the plugs, ill definately get those. ill just have to see if i can see anything that would have caused it to stop running like loose connections and such.

OK, im getting an '83 280zx turbo and the car has sat for the past 10 years or so. The reason it was parked was because it had stopped running and they never got it fixed. So basically I am wondering where should i start and what should I do? I have always been around cars in the past and now, just never had a Datsun, or any turbo car in that matter.
