Lug nuts
Yeah, Bob told me what I needed. He seemed to know more than I did concerning the studs (insert joke here) and the lug nuts. He said that if I went with the 1 inchers that would put more stress on the studs and that I should go with the 3/4's. Got a good price on the screw type of centercaps too!

Lug nuts
I apparently confused Juan a bit. But between Bob and Juan, my lugs and center caps are on their way! Thanks Randy!

Lug nuts
Anybody else had a hard time finding long shank lug nuts for the standard 114.3x4? I wanted to put a set of classic aluminium slots on my Z and I tried Discount Tire, waited two months and nothing. Now I've ordered a set from Tire Barn and the said two weeks. It has been three. I'm almost to the point of giving up on the rims and buying new ones.

quick easy question
Self tapping screws are what I used. Since the interior is black, I used polished screws with large polished washers. I was going for the aircraft, industrial look.

How well do they hold paint John? Will there be a noticable difference between the fenders and the hood color if painted?

Nissan Decompensating
We can't really blame the French can we? I mean, they love Barbara Streisand and they think Jerry Lewis is funny. Now there is something wrong right there. What were we talking about?

Nissan Decompensating
I bet you had French toast for breakfast, French Fries for lunch and a big ole loaf of French bread for dinner!

Actually, to be historically correct, the BIG WAR was WWI. WWI ran from July 28th, 1914 to November 11th, 1918. The conflict I believe that you are referring to is WWII, which ran from 1939-1945. So we bailed the frogs out twice in less than 50 years? The French did help us out in the Revolutionary War, but it was merely to wizz the British off! HLS30, the Dodge Grand Caravan SXT loaded Anniversary Edition is quite nice for the $$$. A lot of dealer incentives. Just got one for the wife and she loves it. If resale is your biggest thing though, you are better off spending the extra $ and getting the Toyota or Honda.

Air horns and filters
Alright I dropped the coin on headers and a new exhaust, now I'm looking at air horns and filters. Any comments on the MSA air horns, or am I better off not even buying them? (hundred bucks is a hundred bucks!) And to the filters, are the K&Ns that much better than the Longflos from Black Dragon? Thanks in advance for encouraging my shopping!

Nissan Decompensating
This is typical marketing by Nissan. They get someone in the 20's that can't afford a 350 and they tease them with a peppy, nice looking, somewhat fun car to drive. Then in 3.5-5 years when the come back, they are more established in their careers, have a second income, or have a rich relative that has died recently and they have more disposible cash to throw at a more expensive, more impressive car. It's done all the time, i.e. Infiniti, Acura, Lexus. Did anyone else notice on the commercial they boast that it starts at $20K? Read the fine print. The red one in the commercial was 31k! You could get a decent REAL Z for $11,000!

How the heck do you wire this thing??
It didn't come with a switch? Huh? I'm with ZGL on this one, get a thermostat set up or run a switch to the dash. I had an electric fan on a switch in my old 240Z (cry, sniff, sniff, RIP) and ran the fan when the car got hot or when I knew I was going to run it hard. Did you buy a fan that connects with a shroud to the radiator or is it the type were you have to thread bolts through the radiator?

3 into 2 MSA header
Just got the 3-2 header with the turbo exhaust installed on my little girl. WOW! Big thumbs up, two snaps and a twist etcetera. Great sound and you can definately feel the difference in the pick up. If you haven't yet, you need to. Well worth the $$$. Now I gota buy air horns and those damn can airfilers. Oh well, there goes another $200!
