Chrome engine fan
Does anyone know, does anybody make a chrome fan to replace the original plastic engine fan in the 72-73 240's? Thanks, just thought it would be a cool dress up for under the hood.

Yeah, just tapping the accelerator keeps it alive.

Slow death
Hey all, An issue I've run into a few times is my Z just dying at idle. Starts fine, runs fine at any RPM level, but if it sits at idle it just slowly dies. It will fire right back again after it dies. No hard sputtering or anything like that either. Just a slow quiet night-night if you will. My initial thoughts would say fuel pump. That's why I asked about the electric pump in the other thread. Any thoughts o' wise ones?

Electric fuel pump
Has anyone installed a Holley Red Electric 12-801 on a carb'd Z? Did you leave the manual fuel pump in or did you take it out completely? Was there any fabrication to be done, or was it pretty simple? Thanks for any input.

Anybody have a picture...
Got it from Victoria British (Black Dragon). I did get the door closed though with a little muscle. I made it my biatch! I bought the "Super Weatherstip Adhesive" too and it didn't work for $#!+. I had to go to Lowes and get another kind from Loctite and it seemed to work a lot better. I HATE THAT F'ING WEATHERSTRIP!!! WHAT A PAIN IN THE ARSE!!!

Anybody have a picture...
Of how the weatherstripping lays in the doors? I'm looking to see where the gap is supposed to go. It has been too long since mine had the seals and I forget. Thanks!

Whats your guy's thoughts on these mirrors??
I have them and they were painted to match the car. I will echo what a lot of guys have said. They look good, but work themselves loose. And yes, you have to drill holes. (And not the good kind of hole drilling! )

Anybody replace the plastic rivots...
I did a little test with the bright screws and I think I like it! I'm waiting on a speaker panel, and when I get it in I'll post pictures.

Anybody replace the plastic rivots...
Thanks for the tips! I was thinking of a self tapping screw with a rubber washer underneath the screw head to lessen the chance of cracking I was also kicking around the idea of using polished screws and washers. Kinda give it that aircraft, machined look. I think it would look good with the black panels.

Anybody replace the plastic rivots with metal screws in the hatch? I'm really not wanting to put those annoying plastic rivots in again. I guess I really just wanna know, do they work and what size did you use? Thanks all!

door weatherstrips
I just got my 72 back from the body shop (5 months) and I forgot how the weatherstrip goes in the car. I pulled the old stuff out for the complete paint job and purchased new strips for both doors from Blackdragon. Does anybody have a diagram on how it should be glued to the car?
