Z key for sale
I would have to go along with McZ. My Z is also a 1970 model, and the key is also cut on one side only. Cheers Dazza

Mini Z
Hi All, Took this pic at a recent sports car get-together. It is a Goggomobile Dart. Sort of looks like a topless Z that was washed in water that was too hot. Cheers Dazza

Whatcha got planned for Mother's Day?
Hi all, I hope Mother's Day went well for all. Zvoiture, your brunch seems quite exquisite. Sounds like you were spoiling everyone. I hope the wine went down well with it Alfadog, it is a pity you missed the turn out at McLeans Bridge. I would have liked to have caught up with you. There are a few forthcoming events that you may be interested in. The only one I have an immediate date for is on Father's Day, 1st September, which is being run by the Alfa club and open to all classics and sports cars. Cost is $50 for 2, but includes breakfast at the Italian Club in Newmarket, then a 3 - 4 hour tour/run around S.E. Queensland. Their website with details is : www.alfaclub.org.au/qld I will let you know the details of others as I find where I have "filed" them. Cheers Dazza

Whatcha got planned for Mother's Day?
Hi All, Well we have just returned from the McLeans Bridge Mother's Day Sports Car get to gether. The event was well attended with over some three hundred cars. I have posted a few pics of the event. Zelda, our 240Z, took out the trophy for the "Most Desirable Datsun Z Car" which was sponsored by the Z-Car Workshop, here in Brisbane Australia. There was a lower number of Z cars than I was expecting. All told, there was in attendance, 1 x 240Z, 1 x 260Z, 2 x 280Zs, and 3 x 300Zs. Getting the trophy saved me from having to race out to get a box of chocolates and flowers or an express Victoria Secret delivery, for my better half Cheers Dazza

Whatcha got planned for Mother's Day?
Hi all, Hmmm... not to sure if I am doing the right thing here Tomorrow, for Mother's Day, I am taking the better half, and our 240Z, to the McLeans Bridge Mother's Day Sports Car gathering on the outskirts of Brisbane, Australia. The word is that they are expecting around 400+ sports cars at the event. I am looking forward to see how many other Z cars are there. Cheers Dazza

Hand Throttle
Hi All, I hope this may be some help. My Series 1 has the VIN of HS30 00145 and was built on or about October 1970. Going by what has just been put on this subject here; does that mean that only 500 RHD Series 1 cars were built ? Cheers Dazza

What kind of fundraiser merchandise would you buy?
There is sure some great ideas being put forward here and I must admit that I am agreeable with the lot. However, if pushed for a favourite, I must go along with EScanlon on the grille badge. I am a member of a local all makes car club in Brisbane, Australia, with about 80 members, that has been promoting it's existance by this very popular method for many years now. Not only do the grille badges look smart, and last indefinately; given time they also become collectable items. Regards to all Dazza:cool:
