I checked some old correspondence, including all the statistics I got from Nissan Headquarters back in 70, 71. Bonzi Lon is correct, 15.9 gallons.
  2. Cut and piece of rope 10-1/4'' long and jack the rear up and see if it'll fit. Check other websites, AutoZone, Napa.

I'd like to get my 10/69 Fairlady ZL running & repainted.
  4. And there's the cost of the wheels and tires, but it's what you can afford.
  5. The 240z needs new tires. The 10/69 FairladyZL needs a new clutch, and a total repaint
  6. I was lucky, after getting discharged, went to the 3 dealers in the Cleveland area, and getting the same $1K down and wait 6-9 months and no color or tranny choice. I went to Stang Motors, North Ridgeville, Oh. $100 down, week later, 3 to choose from. white w/auto, brown 4speed, and white, bought a white w/4speed. I'll post a pic, if I can ever figure out how to.
  7. Mine used to do that, it was the fan belt. Sprayed some ''Belt Dressing'' on it, sound went away. Replaced the belt.
  8. Been in Richmond since Sunday, visiting my daughter's family, been trying to move down to Port Charlotte, Fla. for the last 7 yrs. Hate the salt.

  15. Have you thought about how will the cold weather, especially in Michigan affect this, due to shrinkage.
  16. I'm in need of clutch parts for my Fairlady ZL, 5 speed. I doubt if I can get them through my local Nissan Dealer. It's a 10/69, which I plan on restoring for next years car show. It needs a new clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, needle bearing that goes into the 2.0 litre engine, the wire spring inside the transmission, the rubber boot in the tranny, and the other rubber boot under the shifter leather. I wrote to Nissan Headquarters, 17-1 , Ginza 6-chome Chuo-ku, Tokyo back in 1970, again in 2001 and received a nice letter from Shoji Takahashi. I heard that Nissan moved. Anyone have the new address, I'd like to contact them again to see if they can help me. I have replaced the clutch with a CenterForce in my 72 240Z, back in 94. Just need correct parts for the 69 Fairlady ZL ....Thanks, Fred Sigarto
