  1. very good, I'll keep your idea in mind when I do the Fairlady lenses.
  2. maybe hubcaps? I see my white Z there.
  3. not the correct gas door for a 70, no chrome lock or knob
  4. Put Koni adjustables on back in 94, set them to stiff for AutoX, still very stiff. I do have a set that you can adjust while in the car, not having to remove them to readjust.

Hope to see you at the Runoffs next year, I'll be working as a Pit Marshal. Worked all the Runoffs there from 94 til they finished.

Congrats from us here, watched it when I got home from our Solo event, great job !!!!
  10. I've gone to a hobby store and bought oil that is used in the shocks for remote control cars, very thin, been using since 94.. They carried 3 or 4 different ones.
  11. Wish I could, be down in Jan & Feb. Port Charlotte in the near future.

We're all behind you, hope at the end of the race, the rest of the field is too. Good Luck !
  13. Headers too
  14. I use mine on a hill too "siteunseen", I also turn the front wheels so if it does roll back and if there's a curb, they'll hit it.
  15. In an emergency as stated by psdenno in post # 4, yanking on the parking brake is the only way to stop. However, I've heard, continually yanking on it will stretch the cable, even when parking the car.
  16. Great pics Blue, wish I could've gone.

Googled Blow Off Freeze Spray, a lot of different sized cans, Walmart carries it.
  18. Just read an article, there's a famous ice cream shop in Nashville, "Elliston Place Soda Shop", it's been in business since 1939,and July is National Ice Cream Month, check it out.

I'm on my last Nissan, an 09 Altima coupe, great car, refuse to buy a 4 dr. C-dan, until I'm in my mid 70's. Would've probably bought one of the 3 IDx models
  20. The rally clock in my 10/69 Fairlady ZL still keeps pretty good time. I think it's a female clock, it came with a pair of knobs, however it does hum, doesn't know the words, ( ) All kidding aside, very interesting post, thank you, looking forward to the next one. Maybe include a few pics, again thanks. Fred
  21. Beautiful restoration, you'd think for $25K+ they'd have gone to the trouble of finding D wheel covers
  22. At a TrackTime event at Mid-Ohio back in 91, stock 240Z, except for mags & BFG R1 stickies, coming out of the keyhole heading down the backstraight, I hit 125+ mph. that's heading downhill. Couldn't catch my buddies Rx7 turbo, but I did pass a Ferrari 308.

    Wrong hubcaps for a 70Z
  24. I have fender mirrors on my 10/69 Fairlady ZL, very functional. There's no need to turn your head much to see what's in either lane when changing lanes. I have mine adjusted so if I see just a part of an approaching car, no lane changes, and you don't take your eyes off whats in front of you. The LHD 240z with the door mirror you have to look almost at a 45 degree angle to see what's on the right, no passenger side mirror.
  25. I also need a black left rear interior panel, series 1, the one that covers the antenna & speaker. I have a series II in there now. .... thanks
