In the engine bay I actually purchased some black rubber grommets to push into the holes. I gues they could be glued in. This is a temporary measure to stop any unwanted fumes coming into the **** pit. I will weld them in when the engine is out next time and do a nice paint job. Around the rear of the car I found about 10-15 holes large and small. Because of fume problems I decided to plug them all. I did it a cheap and easy way from under the car by cutting small pieces of aluminium plate (1mm) and glueing them over the holes. Even around the bolt holes near the rear shocker towers which open to the road. As such she is now air tight and no more fumes for me. Just some cheap and easy ideas for what it is worth.

Thanks. It was a lot of hard work and cash but we got pretty close to the result I was after. I also think the side vents/indicators detract a little from the G-nose looking so long.

I actually put a G-nose on my 2+2 recently and it came up alright. Although I might be a little biased. I agree they can make the car look a little long and I was a little sceptical like most people. But if you have some wide tyres and lowver the car then it looks more in proportion. I also flared the guards some 20mm F&R and modified the front to make it look more sporty and now it seems to suit the car. I have a few shots of it in my gallery on this site. Steve was certainly a unique individual. An exceptional personality and voice of the animal kingdom. What a shock to see such a great man go down so early in life. I hope his wife and kids have the courage to carry on his legacy and his self made empire. Truly an irreplacable individual who will be missed by many around the world. Onya Steve.

I placed an EVO1 race seat in my Zed and it is fantasic. Snug fit in a Zed but very comfortable and makes you feel apart of the car since you are sitting in it not on it.

  16. I hate to put a dampener on the G-Nose price but I brought one off E-bay here in Australia for A$550- or around US$400- which is a 3 piece but no head light covers. I did some mods to the lower section and add in some air ducts before mounting it. Came up great. I loaded up some shots in the of my car in the gallery yesterday. I would love to hear from anyone who knows where I can get the headlight covers for the nose though. Doesn't seem to be anywhere in Aus. Cheers
