  1. That is nice.
  2. Oh heck that's not good. is this on the green 75/76? Anyway before I come to work tomarrow night I'll stop by that shop and get a better look at that tank. Also a ebay seller called datsunofthebeach he has a few 280z parts and alot seem to be 75/76 Shoot him a email
  3. Hey Tony He wants 75/100 for it. I think it's thats high for a tank that the pickup tube needs to be fixed. Thats why I passed on it for my 75. Just how bad is the tank you have now? I read where POR15 will fill pin holes and such. I'll go over and take another look at that tank just the same it mite not be as bad as I remember.
  4. I know the 77 tank is different than a 76/75. Weather or not you can get it to work I'm not sure. I know a shop here in denver has one but it needs work I think the pickup tube is broken But I'm not real sure about that. I would have to call him ask. Eric
  5. Jeff I had read that Tokico's were progressive. I went back to the thread where I read that and there maybe two different springs with the same part number? But then I could of miss-read the infomation. I like those rates for the 280. Thanks Jeff for asking some questions. I had a hard trying to get through to the tech's at Tokico a while back and when I did I didn't think to ask them about the rates.
  6. Jeff G 78 I had read that on a posted either here or at one of the other sites. I think the poster said he had called MSA and that was what they told him. I'll go back and take a look. Thank you for the update on tokico.
  7. I just made 42 as of March 2nd. Still not a year that I bought my first Z now as of Wensday I'm up two Z's..woohoo Denver Colo Eric
  8. I just bought a 76 Wensday night and the PVC hose on that car runs from the valve cover to the boot between the AFM and the intake.
  9. Damn I had to look hard for any sign of A/C in that thing... And I see that changed out the shifter from the wood which she liked so much to a leather looking thing

Have you stopped by Eastwood Co to see what they have?
  11. Very nice, But your right a little detail on the engine would go a long way.
  12. This past week I had to change the hoses going to the heater I would of like to have changed all three but I could only get to two of them without have to take out the blower. I did take out the glove box only for more light to get down there. I should of taken out the seat it would of help my back a lot. So now that I could only get the two hoses I'm going to find a heater core and new hoses as the ones I put in where used. And do it all and hopefully forget about it.

I have run Lolo Pass in a big truck but sadly not my Z. The Z would be a lot more fun... This week I took my Z up to Sliver Plume Colo and over to BlackHawk and up the Peak to Peak Hy (CO HY 119&93) I had a girl friend out from Ohio and She had never to been to Colorado. I wish I had more time to show her the sights.
  15. From what info I have that I got from Blue's tech tip's He has Tokico springs at 185lbs/in front and 200lbs/in rear the rears I have read are a progressive rate Eibach: 183lbs/in front and 154/212lbs/in "Progressive rate" If this info is right it maybe hard to tell any differance in the ride I just put what I think are a set of Quickor springs in my 280 along with Tokico HP Blues So far the only draw back has been I have only done the front end but what a nght and day feel If anyone has any info on Quickor suspension please get back with me. The springs are painted blue with a red and yellow paint marks on each of the coils..

Nice wheels to bad they didn't come 15's...
  17. My 75 has a auto and it will not even churp the tires unless they are on sand, ice, snow or a wet road. Maybe going around a corner. Not that I try A auto is pretty much worthless for performance find a 4 or 5 spd. Also like the others have said doing a nuteral drop will hurt the tranny. A long time ago a buddy and I were on a beer run and he wanted to try to power brake a ford ltd it seem that things were going well until the drive shaft fell out....

Tony It is a nice looking color, I like a dark green myself but that color is pretty nice. Heck I'm pretty sure it's in better shape than my 75...

Does it have a manual or a stick tranny? Post a pic if you could thanks
  20. I have given some thought to getting one as my 280 runs hot even after I went though the cooling system. I may have to get a different Radiator. and try that. This guy wont ship it. And like a lot of you I'm not sold on the look of it..
  21. You would still need something like a Haynes or a FSM.
  22. Holy Crap indeed!!!
  23. Cool pic's! How is your car set up? Hopefully you'll get it back on the track soon.
