  1. well, i don't know why the price was so low... everything works! the only thing is a minor vacuum leak, which i spotted immediately. small hose, too old. i bought it from a woman who originally got it for the looks. she just bought a new camry, so she didn't need it. it's got a small dent on the driver-side rear fender (yet another case of an asshat boyfriend...) the car's clean in/out. the center arm-rest compartment is broken, and the driver seat could use a replacement... some springs worn, or broken. let's just say that jan. 20, 2004 is the day that i got lucky!

hey all... i don't know if anybody remembers me, but i used to live in utah, and i had a '73 240z... well, unfortunately i moved to texas, and left my baby behind for a paltry $425... well, to the present. i live in hawaii now, and i have just purchased a new z. it's a 1987 300zx... i know, i know i don't technically belong, but this is the coolest z club hands down. well, a little bit about the car: i got it for $900. check it out! i just posted pictures today. it's been recently checked, and registered (december, 2003) it has no major problems!!! wow. i plan to be driving it in a month, or so. glad to be back to the forums!

hey, all! the thing that makes me drive crazy long, winding roads! if it's night-time, then it's all the better. loud, chaotic music, and the revving of engines also gets my blood boiling. funny how my foot has a tendency to get heavy when these factors are thrown together. should i see a doctor? :stupid:

i don't have a means to post any pictures. my car's in utah, i'm in texas, and my friend is selling it. what i noticed is that the floor panels in the drivers side have a few small rust holes, and the actual frame has serious rust all the way through. the underside, front half is pretty nasty though. the back half is good though. the engine compartment is rust free, but i think the battery mount may have had a little (though i'm not sure).

i'm selling my '73 240. everything works on it very well. i've put in a holley 4-barrel carburetor, brand new. it's also got new tires. the thing is that the bottom is pretty rusted on the front half, including the frame. it's pretty bad, but i was wondering how much could i possibly expect to get out of a car like this in the u.s. any general guesses would be extremely helpful. thanks!
  8. half the stinking punks who had some "raced out" hondas at my highschool before i graduated ALSO had dents, or breaks of some sort on their car. don't they have eyes??? i'd like to see them try to drive an exotic, with much less visibility! tchhh...

  10. and another thing... for the lights, be sure to check the connections. i believe the blinkers, etc can be found inside the front wheel wells. as for the car not running, it could be the timing is off. you could try to advance the distributor. also, if the carburetor's are backfiring, it could be a lean fuel mixture. hope this helps.
  11. actually, my 30 yr old z clock works...
  12. i'm curious about the rotary engine. i've heard that they don't last too long before they begin to burn oil badly. could somebody give a quick explanation on them, and correct any misconception?

just a few months back, around december, i helped an old lady with her computer. she had gotten an e-mail about some file called nwblink.somethingorother (exe, i think). well, i thought it sounded important, so i went to the microsoft webpage to verify my suspicion. it turned out to be a file that allowed windows to use extended filenames (greater than the 8.3 format). so when you get something like that, also beware, check out microsoft's webpage before you delete files in your windows directory!!! lousy bums, who are trying to hurt nice old ladies SHOULD be publicly HUMILIATED, and severely BEATEN!!!
