Yes indeed, I use wd-40 to remove road tar from my Z... because in Oklahoma they like to pile tar on top of a pot hole and call it done. So wd-40 got its name kind of like the rx-7, rotary experiment 7... neato

I love my Z for all of the reasons above, and I've made countless friends because of my Z. I love the fact that lots of people who dont know what my car actually is think that it is a late 80's car. Its a beautiful car that was way ahead of its time.

I need a picture of this as well..... My car doesent even have the window channel felt AT ALL, so measurements or something would be nice.

I thought the 240z tail lights could not be swapped with the later tail lights.... Is the entire rear panel swapped... or just the lights??

I paid $600 for my 260z 11 months ago. Down side was it had flat tops and a sunroof. Up side was it had rust preventing spray on the uncercarriage, 4 speed manual, full dash cover, and a full msa body kit.

I have a late dash (1974.5), and it does wrap into the holes. But there is not enough room to pull the gauges out. I've always pulled my gauges from the back anyways, I dont even know if you can get them out from the front, even if you dont have a dash cover.

I bought mine off a guy in the classifieds section of the paper. I fell in love at first sight. I had no knowledge about Z cars at the time, but that didnt last very long. Once I learned about them, I realized how many goodies it had. A lot of MSA products including a aero kit, shift knob, hard dash cover, and unfournately a moonroof. I got it for $600. I plan to keep the car for as long as possible, and probably give it to my son when I have one.

How old were you when you got your first Z car? I got mine at 17, and I almost cried because I was so happy.

I have a l28 in it, and I made the heater hoses from a spool of hose. Thanks for the info, i'll give that a shot when I get out of school.

The heater core has 2 tubes sticking out of the firewall. That said, which one goes to which hose??? OR does it matter. There is a hose from the head, and a hose spliced off the bottom ratiator hose. Thanks

On what years did the G-nose come factory. I'm pretty sure they only came on 240z's, but my friend keeps telling me they came on the early 260z's as well. Can any of you clear this up for me?

I want to go turbo. But I want to keep my block and head. I need to know all the things i will need to make my car turbo. It is a 1974.5 with a p90 2.8l swap, and a ported e88 head.
