The car i have been told has no rust, and I had a look myself and couldn't see a spec, as he's pretty fussy.

GTR wheel arches
I found a c110 (240k) about 9 months ago in a wreckers in Casino in NSW Australia. The car was complete but rusty. it was a two door coupe and for $200 dollars I could of owned it. But as my hunt for a 240z went on i wasn't interested, and didn't look into it as i already had a magna and a 260z, and the only other car I wanted was a 240z as it was my dream car. If your still interested in getting one from Australia, you can pick a good one up for a few grand. Curtis

need a price for a 240z
Hello all. I was interested to get your opinion on this. It is an early 240z as it has the twin choke levers, Flairs, Front spoiler, Resprayed 15 years ago and the paint is still good, reskinned dash, wire wheels, whale tail. Over all the car is in good condition and just needs a tidy up. The only blemishes is that the bonnett is bent and the passengers seat needs retrimming. The car is complete and was taken of the road two years ago as he plans to tidy the car up (That was back then) When talking to him he said that he might sell as he has had the car for 16 years and wants to bring his chrysler p76 home. I would like to get your opinion as to how much the car is worth in Australian dollars. As for pictures i can't get any at the moment but will look into getting a few. Curtis

my first 240z
Carlbeck. The car is originally a manual so it does match up. The number is hs30 213. The car was not an automatic but was put in by the previous owner, as the car looks like it was to become a drag car. thankfully he lost interest and I plan to restore the car close to original as mentioned. If you look at the pictures you will see that the car has rear vents and no holes in the steering wheel, where as all z's after the first 500 that were sent to Aus had holes in the steering wheel, and the vents were moved in to the quarters and had z on them, where as mine originally had the badge saying 240z. For more information if you would like, type under google the z shop which is in Australia which will show the history for all z's sent to Australia. Curtis

240z in sydney
260zed. I think that you'll find that the guy would'nt care. The funny thing is though is it's only 10 metres at the max from his front door. I contacted him last year to see if he would sell it, and nearly had him convinced until he backed out. I reckon he probably thinks the car is worth money, as I ended up talking to someone this year that offered to buy the car 10 years ago when it didn't have rust in the roof, sills etc and was repairable. Who knows what he thinks?. Curtis

my first 240z
Hello again. After having the 240z for 5 months I finally got some pics. I'm only 17 and look forward to restoring the z. It is currently at the panel beaters (he does hot rods so i know its definately in good hands but the price will kill me, but it's worth it). I am restoring the car back to original as it's the 213 car built according to the history. The only different things I plan to do is put a nice set of mags on it, and a cd player. I plan to paint the car the original orange and put the original 5sp back in as well as all the other bits and pieces. I also own a 260z to that is being fixed up as an every day driver now. Curtis

240z in sydney
Unfortunately it's not only the roof. I think nearly every panel had rust including the floors as when i put my foot on the passenger floor all i heard was a crunching noise. Just a waste of a car

240z in sydney
Hello all. I just got back from sydney on the weekend and found this. I don't know what year it is, but has the twin lever choke set up. The car itself I have been told has not turned a wheel in 15 years and the guy who owns it stupidly won't depart wih it. unfortunately I think it's stuffed due to lack of care.

Save S30-0002
I'm amazed this car still exists. I own no#213, And like the rest, agree that this car should either be restored or locked away in shed atleast for restoration. And if you new the true value to this car you wouldn't wreck it or let it go to waste. Curtis

260z 2+2 in aus
I have currently got a 1976 2+2 260z. I started this project a year ago and since getting it sandblasted have found many surprises. such as It has sustained a hard hit to the left rear quarter which has bent the rear slightly. It has rust under the fuel filler cap, passenger floor (where footrest is), passenger door, along where the tailgate closes, and a few minor areas around the tailgate. The car has the original 5 speed and l26 engine with 240z su's. It still has all the other bit's and pieces like the original mags and centres and a rear spoiler. I hope to have some pictures loaded on and would appreciate your comments on whether to fix this car or wreck or how much it would be worth, as I just bought a 240z and don't no what to do.

Help talk me into this!!
I was looking under yahoo images on Monday and there was a website that i stumbled on to that someone had set up with all the original z'd colours. I know the image I clicked on was a green 240 or 260z under these 2 catagories. So good luck. Curtis

How much is this worth
As for the pics I have none available. I will be down there this August so i'm hoping i can get some or the car. The car itself has been sitting in his front yard for over 10 yr's, and every now and then he puts a cover on it. He is locaed over near Blactown/Windsor area and it's under a tree. I have also been told it DOES have rust in the roof and requires alot of work as mentioned before it would need a full restoration as every thing would be ceased from sitting. Curtis

Tell us about your Z!
I bought my "69" built 240z (complianced in 71) stripped apart, but with minimal rust in the floors and around the rear window this year for a low $900.00 with a turbo set up (not going on car). Although cheap, after talking to the panel beater who is proffesional in this type of car, it's not so cheap after all, but it's the 213th complianced in Australia, so I guess it's worth doing. I also own a 1976 260z 2+2 which is a rusty wreck unfortunately, and has sustained a major wack to the left hand side so i'm still ify if to fix this car up or to wreck it as i do not know still what is exactly missing of the 240z. How much is this worth
I'm interested in a 240z in Sydney Australia. The car has been sitting for over ten years and will definately need restoring. It has rust in the sill's (not sure on the floors as you couldn't get under it). The interior is intact. would love to know how much it would be worth in Australian dollars?.

well
How much is he asking. I just purchased one of the first 500 240z's to come to Aus, and only paid $900.00 in Australian dollars with minimal rust in the floors, and a turbo and manifold (which is'nt going on). Mind you this car was stripped apart and currently at the panel beaters. Curtis.
