Looks like the guy wants to wait a bit to see if the car sells but if it does not he will probably do the trade ... I'm not gett'n my hopes up . Thats a nice car and should sell... No harm Ill get one someday

Oh Just thought of something I wanted to ask ... What are the HP/Torque ratings of the 2.6 260Z and the 2.8 280Z engines? Could I replace the FI on the 2.8 with the Webbers from the 2.6 and use the header fromt he 2.6? Am I right in think'n the 260 is a 2.6 and 280 is a 2.8? I saw it on another site and im not sure Is there a site that might have 0-60 times top speeds and stuff like that for theese cars? Im not expecting it to be like my mustang but my dad said I would be surprised And on a side note I cant help but ask ..... How much rubber can theese things get? .... Im not one to go around do'n burnouts but its fun to know what your car can do.

I never was either but I kinda like the way this one looks. On a side not I was just look'n at your car and it looks great. You did a really good job on that one the before pics scared me a bit .

Hey ... Im not exactly a new user but I never posted here when I registerd so I figured I would now. First off No I do not own a Z but I almost did back when I registerd and I might soon if the deal is accepted. I like to register at clubs like this even if I dont own the car just cause I am a car nut I love classics and the Z just has that look to it that catches your eye. The fact that the Z is a legend also helps . As for what I do have in my diveway ... Well nothing special. 1983 Mustang LX Hatch. Black Hand build 4" Cowl hood, My dad built it. 302ci out of a 1968 Mustang, Converted to 5 lug rims, Dual exhaust with the right pipe hidden as it was a 4cyl car .... Oddly I have had people say WOW thats a nasty 4cyl with the car rocking side to side .... Many more mods but no recent pics only ones when it had the 4cyl. I got in an accident in it last year and it had basicly been garaged since. This is the day I got it. After paint. 1990 F150 XLT Lariat 4x4 5.0 5spd Just got this for my birthday so not much done to it yet. Just the visor,brush guard, cap, and rims 1966 Pontiac Star Chief Executive 2dr Just got this last month it needs to be restored but I cant turn down a car like that As for the Z I am try'n to get now .... Its a 1974 Datsun 260Z 2+2 Aero kit, weber carbs, headers, new head gasket, rear disk brakes, recent paint, new radiator, extra 280z motor, extra wheels, Needs finishing, runs nice, garaged last 10 yr. - lost interest $1700 The guy is considering trading for my 1966 Pontiac ... He loves restoring cars more than the finished product and thats a great project. I really hope I get this car but if I dont I will just keep looking. The only thing that SUCKS if I get this car is the fact that I just had surgery last week on my right leg ... It is in a cast .... I cant drive the car if its not an auto right now ... Well I cant anyway but soon ....

I cant say its stupid .... I did the same with a 1980 Mustang Ghia but there was no floor or frame rails at all left in it

thats what my dad calls them guess it rubbed off on me I would rather egt an old 240 anyway i like carbs much much better the guy who did the work did a lousy job .... i didnt notice it cause i just dont have an eye for that but my dad was still in my car when he noticed alot of bondo it could be restored if someone had the time and money but i dont as i was trading my daily driver for it in hopes it would be drivable and presentable

OMG!!!!!!!!!! my dad and i just checked it out ... its been sitt'n there for a few years now btw .... and now we know why .... its a BONDO buggy ... bondo everywhere on that car and the rockers are ruster and so is the hatch ... and it needs a serious tune up and nobody around here has the ability to tune it guess its back to looking for me half the fun is finding the perfect one

Not sure about the batt tray or spare wheel but I found no rust on it when I checked before ... it has 79k miles on it if I remember right ... The doors were locked but from what I could see the int was not too bad ... Would have liked to see the gauges and if it was an Auto or Manual ... If it is a Manual I will learn fast It did appear there was some bodywork but I am no expert .... I have contacted the seller by Email and I am in hopes that my dad will go check it out as he knows alot more than I do .... He should know something by now ... was a mechanic/custom car builder/Drag racer for almost 40 years if not more Fogot to mention there is a pic

Hey .... Just registered here but I found a White 1977 280Z for sale for $1800 ... I just wanted some info on them ... like 0-60 ... top speed .... reliability and such ..... I havent really checked it out yet as whenever I stop nobody is home ... but it says it doesnt need much to be on the road... Is it worth $1800? I really dont know anything about Imports .... I just know it looks cool and will look nice next to my other toys
