Lets see one of your car race against my friends 320hp @ the wheel(8lbs) GSR Turbo Civic(EG6). Totally a street driven car. The car is capable of hp around the 600hp(Inline 4 for crying out loud) because it was built for 30lbs of boost. Civics and integra should definately not be underestimated... especially in Cali. I'm going to be putting in a 83 L28ET in my 73 Z and i'm expecting to be one of the slower guy behind em civics.

yeah I sorta agree with you guys about it(280ZX) not deserving life but I gotta do what I gotta do... be faster! About the ZX after the swap... I'm gonna post it up for sale, like $300 but if you're really good at lowballing with good reasons I might lower the price or trades for sumthin like Z32 turbos, or some aftermarket part that'll do good for my swap. The ZX isn't perfect though. The frame is a floor pan is bent like a mofo because one of the owners before couldn't use jack stands for shiet. I hope i'll like the outcome of this swap.

I found my donor and bought it for an excellent price. I just bought a 83 280ZXT. The motor, oil pressure, temp... is all good. I bought it for $750 and for and extra $50, the owner(cool guy) even towed the turboed Z to me. Damn I don't know if it just me but this thing really boost nice. No fuel cut or vacuum leak. I think this is the best investment i've done so far for my 240Z. check it out... thought I share it with the Z community.

Trust me... a stock 240Z will never hang with a stock RSX. I've seen bolt-on turbo kits(no internal work done and yes real kits do come with bigger injectors... he must've been boosting really high but who doesn't) on a RSX Type S and it was doing high 11s. Try that on a L24e...you can probably do it because anything is possible but I've never seen it done. Didn't mean to bust your balls. To the eyes of some or alot of RSX owners...Zs a are lame also.

damn...those rice car got nothin on my co-worker's Madza/Lexus/Acura. Its a Mazda but it had a few Lexus logos and Acura emblem on it so I took me awhile to figure out what it really was.It really look like a mid90's Lexus though. It also had DOCH VTec on the side. Also strobe headlights that can't be turn of so it flash on and off every 5 seconds or so. And I do think that "F" 250 GTO is rice because when I saw a Supra with Mercedes CLK conversion I said it was riced out and also a honda prelude that had the Skyline conversion. I think if its in the same family than it'll not be rice like a S13 with R32 conversion(Bodystlye is almost the same not sure about chassis/frame). Just my 2 cents...Don't Flame Me Z-Brothers.

you guys better watch out... i got smoked by a riced out low12-high11 GSX. I thought it was a peace POS but damn can that thing take off like a rocket. It was neon green with graphics, a hugh terminator III wing, neon underglow, and a whole bunch of crap. All i saw was the arse of the GSX dragging as that thing take off. When I finally caught up 4 lights after i ask and that what he told me what he was running. I've seen Z06 and this things was faster. Don't judge a book by its cover.

Same here... I'm looking for someone in the Sacramento that has a used but in good condition for sale. And always looking for a 280ZXT that won't pass smog so the price would low.

I just bought some 15x8 wheels and I need some opinion on tire size. The wheels also have a 0"offset on all 4. I'm thinking 235/50/15 all around with spacer b-cuz I'm also gonna be trimming and adding ZG Flares. I need help on this one. Would 245/50/15 on rear and 215/50/15 front be a good choice also? I'm also be putting on some Tokico 5way Adjustable with again (???? undecided springs). I've been debating it for quite some time now. Wide tires makes car look very manly!!!

Sorry to jack this post but what kind of wheels are on my Z(Look at me signature)... Just bought new wheels so I don't know if I should keep it. Does it have any value...I'm gonna use those wheels for drifting just to burn off those tires.
