    I think the key is to leave at least one rubber interface in any of the four suspension points. That is, don't use 100% poly in your suspension.

    I am planning to have the webbing replaced in my seat belts. Has anyone else had this done? I found a company online that is willing to do this for $75 for each belt (i.e., $150 for both seats). I have non-retractable belts, but you '72 Z owners should also consider upgrading your inertia reel to a modern dual-sensing type.

    Hey Guy, I'm still struggling with the paint job. I'll be glad to fill you in offline if you like. Anyway do you know a reputable paintship in Richmond that I might consider as a backup, just in case I run into static with my current paintshop. I'm going to be making up a list of alternatives here locally too.

    You say you don't have a record of strut service, but it's unlikely that they've never been changed. Nevertheless, if you should have the rare luck of having factory struts, you will likely find someone restoring a stock car that would gladly purchase those originals from you.
