  1. You should have allowed more than one choice. I have a lot of Craftsman, even my rolling tool cabinet, but also German hand tools from my father and some cheap brands. Even Walmart sells tools with lifetime warranties now.

    Income poll...

I could make $250K/yr, and I'd be dirt poor as far as my Z goes.

    Sex or Z?

You young guys can joke about the olders guys, but don't forget who you'll be in 10 or 20 years.

    Sex or Z?

Most dangerous Food! A dietician was once addressing a large audience in Chicago. "The material we put into our stomachs is enough to have killed most of us sitting here, years ago. "Red meat is awful. Soft drinks erode the stomach lining. Chinese food is loaded with MSG, and few of us realize the long-term harm caused by the pollutants in our drinking water. "But there is one thing that is the most dangerous of all. Can anyone here tell me what food it is that causes the most grief and suffering for years after eating it?" A 75-year-old man in the front row stood up and said, "Wedding cake."

    Sex or Z?

I don't want to have to compete with the gear shift knob. :nervous:
  8. I think Mr K is thinking about how the executive jerks in Japan are boiling in their own juices because he had a good idea. Mr. K should be emperor of Japan, and there should be a national Z holiday. Oh btw, since you recorded off a TV, does that mean you have these "films" on videotape? If so, they can recorded onto a computer through a video player.
  9. I don't know, but I wouldn't put them in my suspension.
  10. Actually MacPherson struts are at the front of the car, and Chapman struts are at the rear. ZSaint is correct, don't over compensate with too heavy an oil. The suspension is a system; it's not just make everything firmer and it's now better. You have to look at the weight of the vehicle on each cormer. I think body roll and wheel camber are more important in handling than having rock stiff springs and shocks. Anyway, I think if you buy the Tokico sets with both shock and springs they are probably matched.
  11. If you need springs helpers, well they use to sell those on JC Whitney for saggy springs.
  12. I better buy one then. Don't tell anyone else, this is too damn easy. Let THEM shave the heads and buy new expensive pistons and cams.
  13. How much HP do you get from your NISMO oil cap? :stupid:
  14. I'd have to get rid of all the junk from moving a year ago first.
  15. I spoke with Carl Beck today. The MSA Euro springs that lower your car by 1/2" to 3/4" are not Nissan springs. Nissan Euro springs did not lower your car at all, and are no longer available. These MSA springs are aftermarket.
  16. I was half joking, I guess that ain't allowed no mo. Sorry.
  17. Then why does everyone seem to think the ride height is wrong?
  18. My garage is a shameful mess. It's pathetic and useless as a working area.
  19. Carl, it's "vise" not "vice". There's nothing to be scared of. Just respectful, that's all.
  20. Hey, don't redneck your Z. Buffing aluminum...Chrome plating, sheesh.
  21. What series tires are on NASCAR vehicles? These folks that put on tires with 1/4" tall sidewalls, are not using them for performance but for appearance. Seriously, I've seen this stuff on Ford Expeditions..... silly.
  22. So no one has reported a ride height issue to MSA?
  23. Why the heck are OEM springs so expensive? Anyway, MSA has been selling those Euro springs for years. You'd think if the ride height was wrong, someone would have said something by now.
  24. If you're good at opening a bottle champagne, you may be able to handle the spring removal without the spring compressor. Hahah, j/k. I'd add to Carl's suggestion a medium to large vise that is mounted to a work bench. Makes a nice place to clamp your strut while you remove the spring and strut cartridge/guts.
  25. I agree with these guys, my Z mechanic says that there is usually little or no wear on this component.
