    Don't you have enough cars?
  3. You can purchase stock or Euro springs from Courtesy Nissan. I have new stock springs and KYB shocks. Euro springs lower your care about 1/2". I also replaced some bushings with urethane, and added a Suspension Techniques sway bar kit. It's plenty stiff for me. I just wanted a road car with less sway. If you're going to do all this you might as well take it all down, clean it up and paint it too. Replace u-joints if necessary.

Someone broke my OEM antenna mast off one day. After 35 years, humph. Well so I replaced it with a fully automatic antenna, and did away with the rocker switch. Works perfectly and sits right where the old one was.
  5. Only if you post a pic.
  6. I'll be 48 in July.

I wish someone had told me about this boot. Dam Carl, why haven't I seen this on the mailing list? Bryan, how do you want your money? I'd drive out to see if you weren't so far. BTW, wouldn't the leather one last longer?

My Z was made in the last month of production for 71's (maybe it was Sep), anyway, it had the original vinyl boot but was torn and old. I replaced it with the later laced boot because Nissan only sold that one (circa 1993). It would be great to have an original.
  11. Dave harnesses the power of the Z, hahahah, get it?
  12. I keep forgetting to buy the parking light harness. Can't get off the dime.

I would say the choice of oil depends on the condition of the engine, the location of the car, and its use.
  15. What good is a scoop that sits on a solid hood? It's just a piece of fiberglass.

Well if you're a purist, I guess it's worth it. Why can't locks be taken apart and overhauled?

I know what you mean, I worked at a hardware store part-time till 6 months ago, and you have to put some care into it. I go to the Nissan dealer I have to order blanks? I asked those jerks if they had the Nissan keys, and they said no. I just might drive my Z through the front window of the dealership for that.
