  2. It's not really the diameter of the wheel thats important, it's the offset and width. You could go 17 or bigger providing you can find a low enough profile tyre. I have 16"x7" wheel with 205/55 tyres on a standard offset. I have no clearance problems at all, and my suspension is very low.

A 195/70 will NOT be narrower than a 195/50. 195 is the tread width in millimetres or section width. The sidewall or aspect ratio represents the percentage of the width. The main thing to consider with tyres is that the diameter of the wheel / tyre combination remains the same (or there abouts) as stock. Otherwise it will affect the cars overall gearing, but more importantly your speedo reading will become inacurate. To find the diameter you need to do the following calculation, but first you need to convert the section width from millimetres to inches (divide by 25.4), and then divide the aspect ratio by 100 to give you a decimal. Then calculate 2 x (section width x aspect ratio) + wheel rim diameter. Hope this helps.
  4. The Euro front indicators are above the bumper on all Zeds 1970-79. I understand that this was due to them having to be a certain height from the ground. Personally I think they look better hanging down, it makes the cars "face" look more aggressive. Before this swap over the car looked like it had dimples ! However, the U.S spec indicators look better fitted on the lower valance (as it should be), and soon I will be converting to these but using clear lenses with an orange bulb and doing without the sidelights. A set of white lensed wing repeaters would complete the look, but I am not sure if they are available. If anyone knows any different, could you point me in the right direction please.
