Hi all, on the topic of RB26DETT Z33 cars, here is another one - getting to be quite common now arent they? rb26dett z33.bmp
  4. Hi James, what are your plans for the 260Z? You mentioned in another thread that the motor is going to be built in NZ... so give us the run down Cuong
  5. Hi All, Lee - i am not sure if the old skin was taken of or not (havent had a proper look!) but i know the process involves shrinking some new material over the dash after all the cracks have been replaced. By cap, do you mean only the top was done? My dash was completely recovered, top sides etc. Maybe you can drop around and see it for yourself and then make a decision if this is what you are after. I think there is some money to be saved by going local, another friend of mine had his 260Z dash done by the same guy and it turned out perfect too. Send me a PM and I will give you my mobile # and we can organise a time for you to see the dash and my car. Here are the contact info for the trim shop that I used (this is not the dash guy but I went through this shop to get the whole interior done, so the owner of the place will be happy to organise it for you guys) Trim Care - Owner Peter Mitchell U3/233 Bank Street, Welshpool Ph. 9470 3381 Fax. 9470 5542 Hope that helps, Cuong
  6. Hi guys, for all the Perth people... there IS a guy in Perth that does dash restorations. I have used his service to do my dash in the 240Z and it is a top finish - even all the gauges fit in with no probs Daniel, yes your dash that is cracked all the way through CAN be fixed as this was the condition of the dash that I had fixed. I went through Trim Care in Welshpool since they did the rest of my interior. They can put you onto him. Its not expensive, from memory its AUD$160 or AUD$250 Cuong
  7. Hi Daniel, welcome along. I am also from Perth, currently I have a 76 260Z 2 str as well as my RB26DETT 240Z. Your car in the avatar looks nice, have you recently bought it? Maybe you can take some pictures of it and upload it into the photo gallery so we can all have a sneak look at it? Hope you hang around here, there is lots of nice guys that will bend over backwards to help you if you have any questions or problems. PM me if you need any help with your zed, ie locating parts etc. Cuong
  8. Hi All, WOW... I am amazed on the amount of response that this thread has got! From the few different cars I've seen on the net (google search) it looks like quite a few of them have the same 140Z badge. It may not be a Nissan world-wide car but it seems like it may be a car for a one off market?
  9. Has anyone seen a Datsun 140Z??? http://silverstone.fortunecity.com/austin/489/

Hello and welcome prince_skyline. There is a guy here in WA that has 2 of the Prince Skylines. One is a parts/spare car (very complete only missing bumpers) the other is a very nicely restored white one. He also has many spares (mechanical etc.) I will try and track him down as it was about 3 yrs ago that I was speaking to him and saw his cars.

  16. Hi Geoff, any luck locating the owner of "NEW 240" for me? I would love to upgrade my rear end before something breaks under the load of an RB26 Thank you, Cuong Nguyen

Nissan Pulsar GTi-R (RNN14) are 4WD not FWD. They have individual throttle bodies, unlike any other SR20(DET) engines An SR20 engine having as much power as an RB26DETT (from Nissan GTR or Nissan Stagea 260RS) well.....
