These shots are taken just after the car was painted. The car is a little dusty, but pictures till show how straight the body really is. The back of the car was made to pitch at the same angle as the front. The brakes and suspension have been plated and restored. The wheels are 16" Konig Troubles on a set of new Khumo's. Whats not pictured is the motor I just installed last night. Its a F54 block with an N42 head. That will soon change when I install the P90 head and turbine. -

My near complete 78 280z. Motor going in on Sunday! These shots show the car after I did all the body work and paint. The rear end I thought of in a dream, it was rather weird... some questions are better left unaswered. Its paint color is that of an E36 BMW. PPG BMW Cosmos Black Metallic. The struts, steering and control arms are all plated. Brakes are currently factory, but with Brembo rotors. It has a griffin radiator that will soon be running coolant through a turbo charged F54 block and N42 Head. I will be sure to post more pictures of the car when its further along. Tell me what you think.

Hello, I am a new member as of today. I guess I will tell you a little about myself... My name is Terry and I am 20 years of age. I drive a 2002 BMW 330ci and a 1978 Datsun 280z. I also have a 72 240z (rolling chassis) which I havent gotten started on yet. The bimmer is my daily get around and my Z is still awaiting an engine. I live just north of Chicago, which sucks because I cant drive the Z in the winter. I am a huge Zcar person, I cant get enough. I hope to cruise with you guys sometime and I am looking forward to talking/doing business with all of you in the future. BTW>: I have a 383 Stroker V8 in the classified section that would be a killer set up in a Z with the JTR kit. Check it out!
